Would one of you kind gardeners kindly help me please?.
I have LOTS of passion flowers (from two plants) and they are growing almost like weeds and have the 'fruits'.
A pal of mine would like a cutting /seeds or whatever he needs to get some in his garden.

How do I do it?. Cuttings (when, how) or seeds (when, how?)

Thanks
XB

I have never tried cuttings though I suppose they could work. My passion flowers are grown from seed. I obtained the seed pods (fruits) from a mate at Conz last Sept. I sliced open the pod and put the seeds on a bit of Kimwipe for a couple of days to dry out the pink mushy cr@p that surrounds them. Then planted them in normal potting compost, they germinated within a 2 weeks which surprised me a little. However from the dozens of seeds in a pod I only got 2 plants. I kept them indoors in my unheated but frost free conservatory all winter and didn't plant them out until all risk of frost had gone, they can be a bit frost tender when tiny apparently. They stayed really small all winter 2-3" high at best then spring came they were off, now they are both at the top of a 6' fence but no flowers this year I guess the plants are a bit young yet. From info I have read if you keep the seeds until spring they are a right sod to germinate. So go for it now would be my choice.

Am I right in assuming that swede can be left in the ground until frosts? Or can it be left in post frost?
