Off TopicIs the Goat too good for you?:PDT_Xtremez_34:How do you think we get any info nowadays?

WTF are you on about. I was only expressing a view that official views are normally reported on here before you here them through the official channels. Sort your life out.******

All we want to know is yes or more probably no, not just silence! There was a firm date for the release of this info, I'm sure there is a diffinitive answer out there somewhere, we would just like to know what that answer is. I don't think its that difficult!!

Agreed. But obviously it is too difficult

Announcement

Announcement

Hi all, just heard that the mover's have just made an announcement!!:0

Never mind all this slagging one another off, the point is as the Wobblies were briefed at their conference the other week that an announcement would be made on the 30 Sep 09. This came from the Trade Sponsor, so again we have been let down by someone who is supposedly working and looking after our interests. You are not telling me that she doesn't read this forum because if I was TS I certainly would. SO WTF IS HAPPENING.:PDT_Xtremez_25: It is really annoying that in this day and age we are having to rely on this type of media to find things out

I couldn't agree more, our own people letting us down AGAIN, no wonder the troops are getting pI$$ed of with the raf and getting out.

High Pay Band

High Pay Band

Have just been on Airspace-Log Web, the font of everything that is Supply and guess what.........No infomation on that either, Its a sorry state when there is the tool to get the infomation out to us all and yet we all rely on an Rumor Network Forum......Makes me mad. All people want is a little infomation, if its only to say (officially) its slipped AGAIN....Come on the powers that be....Filter something down.........Use LOG WEB, thats what it was set up for........

As far as I was aware, the Command Board was sitting on 30 Sep 09 to finalise the JSJET pay review.

The TS was here last week and confirmed what I had been told but she did not state the decision would be released on the 30 Sep 09. I can only confirm what was briefed at my location by the TS so perhaps other units have been mis-informed or vice versa.

The reality of the matter is that if no decision is made prior to the 08 Oct 09 then no pay award would come into effect until Apr 2011 if we were successful.

It is a terrible state of affairs but I feel that something needs to be briefed early next week, good news bad news, one way or another.

If you read what I said, followed by the emoticon, you would have seen that my comment was tongue in cheek. Try humour occasionally rather than abuse, it might help your interpersonal skills.:raf:

What an absolute load of garbage. Who do you know that's put their PVR in cos they haven't herd form the pay review yet???

As Janto has said they were briefed that there would be no release before the 8th Oct so perhaps there is just no information to pass on. I hardly think the trade sponsor, if they knew, would keep this information to themselves.

RAF Bird I think you may have misquoted me.

They (Command Board) need to have made and rubber stamped the decision prior to 08 Oct 09 for any pay award, if successful, to be implemented in Apr 10. failure to do so will result with the pay award taking place Apr 11.

I don't believe for a minute there is any conspiracy theory, merely just ironing out any minor issues. I'm hopeful we will see the end of this matter early next week.

And I never said people PVR ing because of the lack of pay review info, I suggest you read what is written and not what you think is written, you seem so quick to slag off people in this forum I have noticed.

Thanks for the clarification Janto but I wish somebody would:

a) Make a decision- I know I should know better but I live in hope!
b) Explain why they have to make a decision before the 8/10/09 for any changes to be implemented by the 1/4/10? Any pay rise is announced in Feb/Mar of the year and the April pay run is fine- surely technology should
work for us - not the other way round- unless of course they want to back pay us in Apr 11!!!!!!!
c) Use AirSpace Log Web so we can have some faith in this new communications route - in particular for those of us stuck out on a limb in DE&S who have to use e-goat and facebook to find out what the hell is going on within the trade!

Off Topic When the TS came to see us recently she confirmed that she does read e-goat and i'm sure she wants a positive decision quickly as well, so she can move on to the next, of the many, challenges the trade faces! Off Topic

I believe your original post stated that troops were leaving. Unless they are finishing their contract then they must be submitting a PVR. I think that's where RAF Bird is coming from but I may be wrong.

With regard to your post, I also believe that troops are beginning to show real frustration about the direction of the RAF and that of their TG.

TG18(logs) is in terrible shape and IMO a real annoying aspect is the incentive of professional qualifications aimed at new recruits and those that fill the criteria based on promotion course completion.

Each and every member of TG18(Logs) should be given an equal opportunity to expand their professional and academic portfolio regardless of time in rank.

Sorry peeps....Off Topic

I'm not slaggin people off just saying that there is no point stating things that are wrong. Your post implied that people are leaving due to them being unhappy and how people do that is to PVR. I dont think that at the minute with the current climate in civvy street this is true.

Actually Janto there is now. If you contact the school they can give you a whole load of different ways to gain Civilian Logistics Q's, including a degree in Logistics sponsored by Lincoln Uni.

And No, I don't know anything about the JSJET result.

And Robby, Norman's always been like that! Jammy tawt

Sorry for that mate, misunderstood your post. Still makes no odds, I'm pretty sure that if the TS knew any info it would have been passed onto at least out Sqn WO's by now.

Suppliers coming on here b1tching like this just makes look like a load of old whingers to the rest of them.

And here's me thinking that you were the Daddy of Logs who knew EVERYTHING! :)
