Sorry to burst a few ego's here boys but who are the weaker ones??? The lumpy jumpers for turning on the water works to get their way or us blokes for falling for it???

I think that too many managers/supervisors have lost their bottle for fear of EO complaints. I say bring it on....having spent 5 days on an EO course, they will not have a leg to stand on (no pun intended). All the blokes in your section/sqn could have you for not treating them equally!!!

JT WRAF, also a little portly, gave the blub story with full nearly bursting into tears trembling voice, about No1's not fitting Blah, Blah, Blah.
WO's comment, "Hmmm, we'll see if we can get you off."

Bloody typical.

I know a couple like that, one an SAC(w) supplier at Leeming, went to the Falklands and spent 4 months in the bar, going to the gym (for her arrivals) nearly 3 weeks before going home! Porker!:PDT_Xtremez_34:

Name and shame ;)

Well chaps...I can say hand on heart say I never tried the water works....

Even stood on parade to be told by the RSM that I had the most wonderful child bearing hips......slight going red of the cheeks from me...and a wink from the RSM.

I got my own back when we had a group chat one day by the RSM and he asked was there any other points....and yes I was issued with the name tab Pte Lumpy Jumper (I wore it with a smile) ....and upon being asked...I said.."Yes Sir....there are no sanitary disposal boxes in the block"......exit one very red RSM....and a lot of respect for me....

I was in the world of the Paras.....and had to put up and shut up....tears would be a sign of weakness ....... and this Army Gal was not showing any....even though after runs.....jeez did I hurt in every conceivable muscle....

I think the most embarassing moment was when they ran my PT Knickers up the Flag Pole...and the RSM took great delight in ordering me to take them down.....but the rope had managed to get free and was flapping about...

This WRAC....well I climbed on top of a ferret scout car.....with my skirt hoisted to the thighs.....stockings showing.....rescued my knickers....and took a bow for the host of whistles that were being given......result....my knickers never went up there again.....

always a lady my friend....always a lady....

I gained respect.....and a few offers of dates...which being a throughly good girl and going out with the man of my dreams....I refused.....

I got away with nothing being a female...I was treated as a soldier at all times...which I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated.

I am aghast at how much some females flaunt the EO/PC card to attain what they desire.

To be honest Blazing Saddles, I am aghast that you are aghast.

To be truthful I have never known it any different when it comes to the fairer sex. It has been as such since the day I walked into the AFCO.

Stinkey at Marham , from the elephant house that had a 3 week marriage to a rock, a few years ago waddled off to Cosford on her fitters course (pains me to say it was a sootie). The warnings were If you got caught cheating on the lead in maths then it was time to say bye bye. Retarded biatch got caught cheating, blubbed, etc, and to the amazement of all got a second chance. Now if it were a lad that got caught I'm sure the outcome would have been different.

Frankly, I'm amazed at some of the comments in this thread. Even the title is demeaning and leads other contributors (including women) down the same dodgy path.

It is unfortunate that dispite the Service's positive stance in encouraging recruitment and fair treatment to all, individuals persist in having the same views they had when they joined. I have noticed that newer recruits have a much better attitude as they know the rights of themselves and others before they join.

Yes, men and women are different and there are reasons why they must be treated differently on occasion, but they should be respected equally.

One of the worst attitudes was from a FS when I asked him to tone down his language in the prescence of female staff. His answer was, " they know what it's like in the RAF; if they can't take it, they shouldn't have joined".

I've only actually worked in a section with women once. One was the a Flt Lt OIC, one of the best Flt Cdrs I've worked for. The other two women were young J/Ts. It might have been the prescence of the female boss that curbed the usual banter that would have inevitively occured but the female J/Ts were probably the best technicians I've worked with.

Can you all please stop referring to female RAF personnel as WRAFs, (W)RAF, RAF(W), SAC(W) and other permutations as these terms went out years ago.

STL you are missing the point of the thread starter. :PDT_Xtremez_41:

As for calling females WRAF, WAAFS, Dorises, Stinkies, Lumpy Jumpers etc I think you will find that these are more like pet names rather than a put downs or terms of abuse.

I can't believe I didn't see that coming...... It arrived in a bl00dy taxi :PDT_Xtremez_42:

Nice one dude :PDT_Xtremez_14: They'll always be WRAF's to me.....

I will admit, i have turned on the tears to help get my own way but i have never done it in a work environment!!! Thats just unfair, because women would moan if they were told because your female you cant do this job, so its not right that we turn on the feminine ways if we screw up!

Jesus! Then why, oh why STL do they not get treated like the rest of us blokes? i.e New fitness tests?

The name changed but feck all changed with it. Equality? This organization is only interested in being seen to be fair to females to please the fecking Red Commie Nazi party! Feckin' gay lezzer lovers

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.............

No

This thread is in a sub forum of the crewroom called "birds" with the description

Birds get on your nerves? divorced? want to vent your spleen? Then get the biatch here.

One of the basics of the crewroom is have a look and a listen if you don't like what you see ot hear then leave that forum,

If you have a real issue then why not go to the effort of starting a thread of your own in one of the more sensible areas of this website and air your views there.
