Just use the link provided by FOMz and email your objection I have, I'm sure we could easily match the objections posted by the locals.
Do we know if the other sites are discussing this?, I'm sure a few of them must be just as angry as the goaters.

I urge you all to write a simople letter of complaint to either FOMz's link or madmo,s.
I did and got a thank you back from the planning people saying it is filed as a letter for consideration along with the snobs who oppose it. I am sure we can more than oputnumber their efforts if we try.

Much as I'd like to tell these stuck up imbeciles what I think of them, it wouldn't help the application out much if they produce evidence of abuse (well deserved as it would be).
Penfolds approach would be the more effective I reckon.

I know but lets do this properly and not let ourselves be dragged down to the level of these residents who don't know their born. We do have dignity even if they don't.

OK it was just a thought, during a red mist moment. But it would be a laff.
It strikes me that these residents in this (alleged) idyllic lane have a few problems with outsiders in general. How would they treat someone who turned up in their beat up morris marina with 6 kids (no RB I don't know their phone number or if they have any spare parts!) and moved in. Would they welcome them with open arms or treat them with contempt and blackball them from their residents association. It seems from the tone of the letters that anyone who does not fall into their ideal category would suffer covert abuse and be avoided at all costs. I shall submit a suitable letter of support when I calm down. Less chance of the fecking word appearing!

Why don't SSAFA find somewhere we are actually welcome and sell this wonderful property to immigration at a profit and they can use it as an overspill for an assylum centre.

I spent three years working at Headley Court and am not suprised at the NIMBYism shown by these cretins.
To anyone unfamiliar with the unit a very busy 'cut through' commuter route runs right between the medical side of the site and the accommodation side and although quite severe speed ramps were installed to try and slow traffic down to give the quite often mobility impaired personnel crossing the road a fighting chance the large amount of 4x4 owners that used this route just made such efforts pointless. Alternatives were put to the council, the preferred one for the unit being the installation of a signal controlled crossing. After objections were raised by locals (it would spoil the character of the area apparently) the alternative was offered by the council, a foot bridge with stairs either side (ramps were a no-no as they would be too imposing on the scenery).
Of course it seems that the locals like to have their cake and eat it as although they seem to detest patients cluttering up 'their' roads when a marked RAF Police vehicle was delivered to the unit requests were put in that the patrol route be expanded to take in a greater proportion of the local area in order to provide a deterrent to thieves following a spate of horse tack thefts.
I'm not sure how they can use 'too much traffic' as an objection though as Dene Lane to the north, is hammered as a rat run during the morning and evening rush hours, with folk using the area when travelling bewteen the Epsom Downs area and Leatherhead/M25.

Well excuse me for pointing out that there are already two cars parked outside the house, which has a double garage.

Although the red mist has subsided, I still had to keep my comments to the Mail very simple. When it subsides a bit more I'll try and take a fairly dignified swipe at the feather bedded Town Hall boot lickers.
The "concerned residents" are a typical bunch of self-centred, money oriented snobs who would be the first to demand military protection if the terrorist threat turned really nasty.
Hope I can remember Kipling correctly:
It's Tommy this and Tommy that and chuck him out the brute
But it's saviour of his country when the guns begin to shoot.
