This time not Chaska, howevever the changes will not probaly effect your current employment at the moment. However the changes are coming, anything that means savings is always rigoursly pursued by the Air Lordships. Does your company do BCU duties at your current location ?
 
Not wishing to be drawn into the Controller vs FOM furore....has anyone discussed/considered the impact of DEs on our Messes? The Aircrew guys treat Dining-In Nights like a 'party-night', anything goes...and their 'superiors' are so junior, they don't have the bottle/experience to keep the youngsters in line!

Whilst I am not adverse to change, whatever happens to our Trade, our Mess life will deteriorate as the possibility of 5-year (service) WOs hit us!

With regard to mess life, it is up to everyone else to have the bottle to slap them
 
I have heard that an hour with POB at the bar, ages you by 15 years. Saying that, 15 minutes with SSH going on about Elvis with numerous 'Uh Huh's' and 'Thank you very much' has the much same effect - Go figure.
