Any other stackers finding it hard to get posted?
Had my JPA up to date for a while now and no hint of when I may go.

I just wondered if anybody else is having the same problem,
you never know might even get a exchange out of it :PDT_Xtremez_14:

Just try what some guys on the sqn i work on have done and threaten to PVR worked for them.

In the current climate I dont think it wise to take this line, they might call your bluff. Get someone who is allowed to call your drafter, its always worked for me.

Yeah i've what I can with regards to perferences on the old JPA just got to wait I'm happy with that reply.

but the reason I asked the question was that I found out the other day that there are around 156 SAC posts unfilled in the trade and if that is the case surely personnel can move about a bit more freely.

but I'm sure there is a reason for it.:PDT_Xtremez_26:

Is there nothing on the trawl for volunteers that takes your fancy. I know the choices are limited on there but always an option.

DOOODE! Ignore this post! Your are not allowed as I am sure you know to ring manning direct you have to go through your unit chf clk. If you do fancy TSW though, which is, as all us serving or ex-TSW know, the best kept secret in the airforce then I'm sure there are places available there. Dont listen to the hype that people who have never been posted there tell you.

If you are a SNCO you can speak directly to ACOS manning through the 'Open Door'. If you are a Junior Rank speak to the Chf Clk as Raf Bird rightly suggests.

Don't go down the PVR route as you could find difficulty in rescinding it in the current climate. The retention cell in place to ring PVRees up in order to retain personnel has disbanded.

Too right :PDT_Xtremez_19:RAF Bird

Blimey, if I had taken that bit of career advice I would have PVRd years ago. That place has to be a last resort, give me Norfolk anytime.

Blurgh!! You just made me sick in my mouth! I was there for 4 months once! Worst 4 months ever of my whole time in the RAF by far! Full of cone heads! ;)

Hmmmm, with this sort of comment on the Wing, coupled with his "I can't do long journeys so can't deploy, but still deserve to be promoted" guff on another thread, methinks Staines441 is about as popular as a turd sandwich amongst his peers.

Just an observation!

Thanks for that, but you are wrong. I am popular with the people I work with, and they know that I have strong views on certain things especially those primos at Stafford who think they are some elete force. I have met some who have their feet on the ground so I'm not going to tar everyone with the same brush, but when certain individuals wear a jersey when its 70 degrees just so that they can show off their para wings you have to ask questions.

Sorry folks but I have to say 441 has a point about that!

How as he got a point as he is speaking tosh. You worked with any of these guys to actually witness it??? Methinks you two are a bit jealous of the extra pay these boys get which makes them nails war heros while you's play on your COD at the back of *T in MPA! :PDT_Xtremez_42::PDT_Xtremez_14:

We all have one, and we are ALL entitled to one. :PDT_Xtremez_14:

Ah yes we are, very right. There is however a difference between an opinion: I think blah is a cnut, or making stuff up: but when certain individuals wear a jersey when its 70 degrees........ which I say again is an absolute load of old tosh!

I get the picture he's more on about those who do the basics to earn their wings, then continue to wear them after expiry (2 years isn't it) without making another jump, never mind on ops (I think we all know 1).
