Chill woman I said I was staying out of it but In fact I have witnessed it at two different units, wearing jumpers in the middle of summer and sticking wings to their mail slot!

And the last time and only time I was in the falklands COD wasn't even out. I've done my time in two different sand pits and got the tin for it so F*cking think before you asume that just because someone isn't on the wing they have done fu*k all or experienced anything!

Perhaps you have done a couple of trips out in the sand pit. Congratulations. I'll bet you any money in the world you were behind the wire working in stores! While that is just as important and everyone has a part to play in the big picture I'll bet you felt a little safer asleep at night that the guys on TSW out on the FOBs with no wire for protection.

Dry your eyes princess and if you dont want to get involved in an argument then dont comment!! Simple!
 
Yeah your right nothing has ever ever happened behind the wire no one has ever got killed or wounded behind the wire no one has ever had to experience really sh*t emontional times while behind the wire EVER!

I must admit...if I had earnt my para wings/commando dagger I'd probably want to show them off, as it's an achievement not many non-rock/army/booty guys and/or girls get.

But you've just got to remember that it's only a badge to say that someone's been on and passed a difficult course. It doesn't make them a Walt......unless they accompany it with false, bloated war stories.

Good for them if they want to show them off. I wear my Blue peter badge with pride!!!!

Where in my post did it say that no-one ever got hurt behind the wire?? I have slept both sides and I know which side I felt safer which is the point I was trying to make.

Ace apparently. Was speaking to a Cpl over there a couple of months ago who popped to ours for a brief who was loving it there. Don't know any specifics though. Sorry.

I have never heard of problems in getting a posting, maybe I've just been lucky. I'm on my 14th posting at the moment and have always got where I wanted.

Never been posted to TSW but did 4 months with them at Lipa. Great fun.
