I know its early but lets see how many people get it right who do you think will win the Premiership this year?
A team from outside the "Big Four"?
IS it finally Liverpools year?

TOON, TOON, BLACK AND WHITE ARMY! I wish, no doubt be the same old story though!

I see a south coast revival this year!

Forget UEFA - Champions League me thinks!

Oh! the team? check the avatar ::P:

We might not win it, but Chavski and The Scum will be constantly looking over their shoulders at us. We are the strongest we've been for years. As long as Torres gets a decent run in the team and Gerro remains fit, hopefully we can keep up with the front-runners and give them a scare. In the past, we've suffered due to disappointing early-season form and that's really scuppered us. We've done OK so far, so hopefully that'll provide a bit of confidence in the side.

but I do think the Chavs will win.

Bloody hell, a pro footballer within the ranks of the goat!!! How long you been playing for them mate?:PDT_Xtremez_15:

After the weekends games i think Liverpool have a great chance of winning the title this year. I know they were only playing Derby but with Chelsea losing to Villa (who Liverpool beat...... dodgily) and Man Utds very poor start they have a chance.

IMHO it will be between Liverpool and Arsenal.

And all that from a plastic Geordie.

Coupled with the fact that anybody who have a large amount of African players in the team will be losing them to the African Nation Cup soon!!

Think people will have a better idea of how things are shaping up the end of January after the tranfer dealings have been concluded and the African Cup is over too. Agree with earlier sentiments about Liverpool being no closer to the title now than they were under Houllier. Can't realistically see anyone else breaching the top 4 positions tho. As for Newcastle a top half finish will be a result the way we're going at the minute.

Difficult to see past Man Utd - Arsenal are playing well but I feel their younger players may need another season of experience.

I think Liverpool may have left a bit too much work to do.
They need to keep that team for next 2-3 years. Always seem to have loads of changes every summer and be tipped to be "their year"

I just think with Jose going and a few other things people might have changed their initail ideas.

I think Man Untd will do it, but they will need to get a few players in January. Probably a Centre Forward to keep their challenge up on all fronts

I'm very pleased with 30 points before Christmas - Africa Cup might cause us a problem but I still think we will make Europe.

Thought your lot would give us a tougher game yesterday, they usually do. Harry has gathered a solid collection of players there, that Bouba Diop character (or whatever his name is) is one large chap!
And I'll be honest, if it wasn't for Torres taking two chances that our other 'strikers' would have put into the kop, then I think it would have been a nervier end to the game than it was.

The RS need another 1 or 2 strikers. Pretty girl Torres is good but the rest couldn't hit an elephant on the arse with a banjo.
