Just watched Football Focus - Man Utd will not lose any players to the African Cup of Nations, unlike their main rivals for the title. Man Utd still remain favourites in my eyes, but Arsenal should push them all the way.

Yakubu? Cahill? Arteta? Lescott? Yobo? You wouldn't have them in your team?
That says it all fella!:PDT_Xtremez_35:

Arteta, possibly as he's the one player with true class you have. Doesn't match up to Alonso or Mascherano though.
Lescott, maybe. Saw him a few times at Wolves and always thought he'd go on to bigger things but not sure about him at the highest level.

The rest...no mate, not a chance.

PS: I also recognise that WE have players in our squad who wouldn't get a look in at ManU, Chelsea or Arsenal.
Mo Sissoko should be thrown through the transfer window IMHO ::/:

Are you serious?!:0
You don't rate the second highest scorer in the prem behind Terry Henry in the last 4 seasons? Arsenal tried to prise Yobo off us. Cahill is class.
Alonso is injured more than an extra in Casualty, Maschpertato? he's not even your player and there is doubt if you can afford him and we wouldn't want him (or need him).
Without Stevie G laaaaaaaaaaaaa you'd be mid table.

I'm glad your lot hijacked the deal on Sisoko tho! That was a close escape.

Now its you thats having a giraffe, a one-player team doesn't stay persistently in the top 4 of the PL, get to two CL finals in three years and an FA cup final in between.

You may have one or two genuine class players, and Moyes has shown he is capable of making silk purses out of sow's ears, but your digs at our squad mean diddly squat. You still consistently trail in our wake and until that changes the rest is just water off the old ducks back my friend.

Moyes may well make a silk purse out of a sows ear, but its better than making a sows ear out of a silk purse.
Long may mad rafa stay in charge of the junior team in the city at our old ground.:PDT_Xtremez_30:

Oh you poor sad bitter chap you. May I remind you that mad Rafa () has got our junior team to 2 CL finals in the past 3 years, winning one of them. Which is one more than your 'senior' club have won in their entire history.
You cannot possibly come out on top here chap so give it a rest eh? :PDT_Xtremez_15:

I wonder why you're the most hated club in the country?:PDT_Xtremez_30:
Worst fans in Europe (as said by UEFA).
The glory days of the 70's are long gone.

Did I touch a nerve?:PDT_Xtremez_42:

We could always talk about the woeful standards of refereeing and linesmanship in the Premiership this season, the epitome of which was blatantly displayed yesterday at Stamford Sh!thouse, sorry, Bridge when Kalou was allowed to score despite being offside by a mile, and the only person who didn't see it was the f*cking linesman...

Yeah, I realise the game must be hard to officiate with loads of things going off all at once, players conning the ref and all of the other malarky, but 4 or 5 yards offside is an inexcusable error.

Off Topic It's probably another debate for another day, but I'm all in favour of using technology for these type of decisions. Both Rugby & Cricket use TV replays for match changing moments and it's been accepted by the fans as part & parcel of the game these days. Why oh why Football doesn't go down the same route is beyond me.

Also Off Topic It can slow the game down a bit, the wait for the tv ref to make their minds up over a tight decision can sometimes be annoying. But it's a trade off between a short delay and making the correct decision (most of the time anyway).

maybe a good thread to start HS

It's been done before to within an inch of it's life.
