Apparently she's rung OK Magazine to quash the rumors and her and dat der Stevo are solid lar
To be quite honest she looks the sort of burd thats way out of a Derby County Players earning league

It would make me laugh if it were true though

At the end of the day, people are missing the point here, Saint Steven Gerrard is a cheating, obnoxious, above the law thug.

I for one hope the rumours are true as I really really cant tand the cnut.

Get off the fence Saint.... Stop beating about the bush and tell us what you really think:PDT_Xtremez_42:

Don't judge all footballers by your own standards.

Tell me one thing Ryan Giggs has done wrong? Apart from being an honest, most honoured PL player who has raised thousands for charity??
Or you could ask what has he got away with(just a joke) he does seem a decent bloke and fairly clean but I think its wrong to look at footballers as role models IMHO.

You're absolutely right. The reason I talk about Gerrard as a role model as he was the England Vice Captain; and should have been setting the right example. Mind you, when you look at JT who, as an individual and England captain, I find a joke I can see why you don't see footballers as role models.

Well if you want an example of a family man, who shuns the limelight and hardly ever talks to the press, i give you one Paul Scholes. Despite being the most naturally gifted footballer of his generation and suffering chronic Asthma to boot, he is a quiet, shy, reserved family man who shuns the fame and trappings that younger footballers flock too like Magpies to shiney stuff.

How can a man like that not be seen as a role model, when compared with drug taking, drunken, DJ beating, Spit Roasting rich chavs? Sorry, footballers. Kids do look up to these people, try and play the way they play, and ultimately some of the behaviour that footballers display off the pitch works its way in too.

He is a ginger nasty tempered cnut on the pitch though...:PDT_Xtremez_19:

Spot on. I was gonna quote Scholes as another fine example of a role model but didn't want to come across as biased towards Utd.

Mind you, he is useless when it comes to tacking :PDT_Xtremez_19:

*******

I am sure his "tacking" skills are perfect, but his tackling is atrocious.

Apologies...I did fight the urge, but alas, it beat me:PDT_Xtremez_30:

I remember reading an interview with Roy Keane, and he said Scholesy could tackly perfectly. Its just sometimes his radar was a bit off and he would clean out man and not ball. Occasionaly he does it for the team to stop a break (Technically a proffesional foul, but every footballer will take one for the team to stop a break). And in some cases he does it just to get back at people who have been kicking him for his career. (Its the manc in him, he cant help it!).

As a United fan, every time you see him steaming in you just close your eyes and pray "Please god, we cant go down to ten men. Stop him doing it somehow".

Next thing you know the whistle goes, and the bloke he tackled is still spinning in the air 15 feet up with no legs left. Bugger.

Still doesnt change the fact he is a bloody good role model. Apparently he still cycles to training every morning, and has a season ticket for Oldham FC. Supporting his local team and not being a cock? there is no way this man could be a footballer! :PDT_Xtremez_30:

Good points

Good points

Football is not, nor will it ever be my 1st choice of sport. Rugby and Cricket for me, but I did play whilst in the RAF (Stn level) and I do follow the "progress":PDT_Xtremez_42: of a certain team that plays in BlacknWhite that is soon to be going back up to the EPL. I have even been known to frequent the Strawberry on occasion.
However, I digress, The point I want to make, is just like Giggs/Scholes whom I admire, not only for the football skills, but thier humility + the fact that these guys were involved from the start in rebuilding Man Utd in the 90s (I am not in anyway stating I like the club, but respect were respect is due) the same can be said for Beardsley/Shearer <not active players, I know> Beardsley was quite often seen shopping with the family in the local stores and I did bump (literally) into him once in a store in Hexham. We had a brief chat. What a really nice down to earth man.

Ive bumped into Ricky Hatton a fair few times, strangest was seeing him out with his little lad (which is pretty much every Saturday), to then bumping into him again 2 weeks later while i was on holiday in Turkey. He was there doing some warm weather training for a fight. Wierd! But another family man, who likes a pint and a kebab, who just happens to be a boxer. Could easily have been a normal guy in the RAF/Army/Navy.

As for Shearer, the only reason he never got into anything is because he is so monumentaly dull! :PDT_Xtremez_14:

Beardsley is another one who just loved playing football, and wanted nothing more out of it.

Just how much has Wayne Rooney calmed down since he has been married? You can tell the lad is happy as a pig in sh1t, and now he has a kid hes even more mature and sensible. I think that has shown in his attitude both on and off the pitch this year, and also with his goal return. Whereas Stevie has obviously been dire, and cheating/cheated on by his missus. Intresting point no?
