*******

I am sure his "tacking" skills are perfect, but his tackling is atrocious.

Apologies...I did fight the urge, but alas, it beat me:PDT_Xtremez_30:
LOL, fair cop. Apparently tho his "tacking" skills when it comes to sailing do leave a bit to the imagination :PDT_Xtremez_19:

And Acerimmer, everything you say about Scholesy is true. Do you think he'll play for Oldham, say for a season or two, when he finally retires from OT?

I think there is a good chance of that mate. He might even go and coach for them to pick up some badges/experience before going back to OT as a full time coach.

Chances are he would probably play for free for Oldham too!

Hmmm

Hmmm

It seems we are talking predominently about English players (ex as well & excluding Giggs of course) So what would be the benchmark for the current English team?

For example, take a look at who England fielded in the 1990 World Cup & how far they got <with a bit of luck of course, but which team does not need that to progress) and the Semi Final against (at the time) West Germany & the England team of now? and/or recent World Cups. I believe that about sums it up for me.

It is not, or should not be always about the money/status

btw. Jim Baxter rocked:PDT_Xtremez_30:

Well it's still all hush hush.

I'll bet the family of the 17yr old can't believe their luck, of all the Scallies their little chavlette could have got knocked up by, they've hit the jackpot.

He's got to be good for at least £5k a month maintenance.

Newsblackout my @rse - my money's on the fact that it's not come out yet because Max Clifford hasn't finalised the deal with the NOW/Sun/Mirror/Hello/OK etc etc etc

As for the Derby player - I soooo want it to be Robbie Savage !!
