So you haven't had two AV Chiefs posted in within the last year or so then? The guys in EAMIS aren't predominantly AV's either I suppose.

Not denying that fact, but they are 3 our of an entire flt of TG4. All the management is TG4/Eng CE including all the techies. The CTs are not "In Charge" as you put it.
 
Tenuously. It's focussing on the fact that TG4 has a place alongside our aircraft brethren and therefore might be annoyed that we just missed out on the higher supplement
 
Is any of that specifically relevant to Trade Supplements?

No it hasn't, got side tracked. Has anyone seen anything remotely official yet about any of this? I've been searching through IBNs and DINs most of the afternoon and there is nothing out there.
 
With a Job Evaluation score of just over 300, TG4 have been put into supplement 2 on the new pay model.

Looks like marking time is back to say hello in 2016.

Had an email from up high regarding this today. The rumour is a load of bollox - wait out until Autumn at the earliest for a formal announcement regarding pay scales.
 
Got told the same by CASWO at his brief last week, that list is FUBAR, sometime in September the levels should be released. Morning CASWO, as he reads this forum.

Seeing that the Int guys are above so many techies should of been the biggest clue, fair enough the linguist as they require specialist training (and knowing the money they can get outside) but having supported the imagery guys for a while now and knowing about their training and primary role I wasnt convinced....7 clicks to freedom is becoming more tempting all the time.
 
So.... As it was mooted previously, we should have heard something by September, but as yet I see no mass PVR'ing (no more than normal anyhoo).

Has anyone actually got a definitive answer for when the supplements are going to be released???
 
Last update we got last week was it is delayed until next year but the planned change of April 2016 is still on track.

Didnt quite get it correct. Marking time = Standing still - nearly the same appart from the pay is only protected for 3 years unless reviewed to be extended. Not clear how this will impact on those on top level at the moment as they hope that almost all those effected will have been promoted or left the services after 3 years!!!!! The second is most likely imo.

Have I read that right? a TG4 Cpl with 5 years seniority gets £23,203?

When I left the mob in 1986, a TG3 Cpl was getting £10,836 which was about 35% above the average wage.

Current UK average wage is £26K so I would hope that I've read this wrong and a TG4 Cpl is on more like £35K
 
£32,310 (down from £33,604 on P2000, plus the cumulative drop from reducing the levels).

Strange that our RN and Army counterparts got supplement 3. Chance for transfer perhaps?
 
That was all because of a certain trade of "Operators" diluting the Ground Electronic Ex-TG 3 Gods and amalgamating into "ONE" trade. TG3 on its own would have been on Sup 3 but then.....THAT happened a few years ago!!!!!

That is that one answered!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
