So the footy Euro's are underway and 90 minutes of footy is 90 minutes less of general Election stuff on TV at TB Towers. Scotland are having a rough start to proceedings against the host nation. So
How far can Scotland get can they escape the group ?
Who wins the tournament?
How far can England get can they escape the group?

Scotland who?
England will win, it’s 96 atmosphere with a 2020 result plus 1, predict any other result and you’re not a fan, you’re just a citizen.

Defending the championship on home turf next time, winning the final in Wembley…

Vushtrri.
Moi aussi :)
We are in France with our caravan, didn't bring our small TV with us this year
No interest in overpaid ball kickers .
We have postal votes but they hadn't arrived before we left. Sunak didn't give a lot of notice, so,I suspect lots of people are away.
Retired with no kids, so we don't go on holiday at peak times.
Now President Macron has called an election too, but of no concern to us.

Be interesting to see how many Ukrainian supporters of fighting age turn up to support their team whilst not supporting their country’s war effort.

I hope things are different but same old England so far. Big name players in the team but out of position which completely messes up the balance of the side. Early lead followed by sitting back and losing the ability to play..

To be fair we historically draw those games though..

Getting that first win takes some pressure off other teams, Germany are through so no motivation to try too hard for another big win to help the Scots out. Scotland need a good win to at least guarantee one of the third place qualification slots, goal difference is going to hurt if they rely on a draw, quite a boring game to watch in the end with bits of activity at the start and end, and not much more than yellow cards being handed out for the middle bit.

England win tonight and were through as one of the top two, a lot of teams are playing safe/defensive football, with goals as a result of breaks, which never really suits us.

Watched it. Turgid, flat, pedestrian, underwhelming. No snap, no sparkle, no pace, no Wow factor if we get out of the group they will be forming an orderly queue hoping to play England in the last 16.

And it is the fault of Southgate.

...And 'if' England finish second in their group, they may come up against the winners of group A.
Oh dear.
