Late 70s. Found 2 large bottles of spirits taped to elevator mass balances (one to each) on a nimrod undergoing 2nd line maint. reported to team chief who told me he would deal with it. Subject never mentioned again!!!!!!!!

Back in 1990 we had a VC10 with stiff controls!! After lots of troubleshooting we found out what it was!
One of the guys from the Sqn was posted away a few weeks before the incident and was working on a VAS section in a sunny hot country, our VC10 was there and he wanted to send us a message with a few obsceneties on it. This is where we found "jammed in the cables in the area where the hydraulic resevoirs are" a large piece of cardboard adressed to the 10 sqn riggers!!!
The cardboard was removed and the problem was solved.

More up to date incident!! On an unnamed airline they had an AOG and had problems with a blocked toilet line!! Upon further investigation the waste line was opened and there were 72 condoms filled with charlie shoved in there!!!!
