Album Phil Collins "No jacket required"

For me, way back in July 96 (ok, ok you old sweats, it feels like a long time ago...)

it was Gary Barlow - "Forever Love", :PDT_Xtremez_32:

thankfully, the album charts had Alanis Morissette - "Jagged Little Pill" :PDT_Xtremez_30:

Altho the two songs that stick in my head are Underworld - "Born Slippy" and Stretch 'n' Vern - "I'm Alive"

Ahhhh 6 Flight...:PDT_Xtremez_30:

Number 1's!

Number 1's!

Robson and Jerome 'unchained Melody / The White Cliffs of Dover'.

Needless to say I didn't buy a copy of that one!

The songs I remember from Basic training were Edwyn Collins 'Girl like you' and Boo Radleys 'Wake up Boo'.

They were overplayed on FOX FM whilst at Halton and the last thing I needed to hear was "Wake up it's a beautiful morning" whilst making a bedpack!

I bet it seems like yesterday !!!

No comment, though Hey Jude was a bit of a depressing song to 15/16 year olds who have just joined up, one guy tried to hang himself and another ran away.
