Best RAF photo!

I know everyone's seen these before, but I still think they're great photos.

Hopefully, it won't be long before I can start taking my own.

That has to be the singlemost coolest Photograph I have ever ever seen.

They are, but a question I got asked was why only send one aeroplane to intercept them?

WHERE DO YOU THINK THE PHOTO WAS TAKEN FROM YOU FCUKWIT!

That's better!

PS. Is it true the actual intercept was done by a Tornado as it got there first - and the Eurofighter was sent up just for a photo?

Sorry all but the photos I tried to upload yesterday won't upload, seems I exceeded the file limit. Now please excuse me whilst I go and hide my face in shame and take comfort in a bottle of red.

I was away on a course at the time but as it was told me to a few days later, Typhoon had not formally taken on the role of Southern QRA at the time so it was an ideal opportunity for a little OJT with F3s on loan from Leeming doing the actual intercept while Typhoon followed soon after. Cue a priceless photo-op.

Here's my fave RAF photo, but only because it's me in the back seat - honest, guv.
