So the government advises to stay away from pubs clubs restaurants etc. They are looking after the insurance companies, rather than business owners. Business owners can't claim of the government doesn't ban all mass gatherings.

Companies already laying off staff, that bearded twat Branson wanting his staff to take 8 weeks unpaid leave whilst he sits on his private island counting his billions. As per usual its the poor bastards who were f**ked over by the credit crunch of 2008 who will be pissed all over yet again whilst the government shores up the big companies and banks. Plus ca change.

Found this about Branson

2 months without wages.

VA has about 9,000 staff from what I can see.

Richard Branson could personally pay all of these staff £500 a week and his net worth would fall from 4.1bn to 4.064bn.

His net worth would fall by 0.88%.

If you had £20 that would be a loss of 17.6p.

And yet he's demanding the government bail him out. If I was one of his workers I'd down tools and walk out, the whole lot.

Just back from the standard weekly TB shopping trip. The worlds gone barking mad in the two supermarkets (Aldi & ASDA) I visited no rice of any sort plain, flavoured, dry, microwave versions none, nothing, nada, baked beans same story not a tin to be seen across the shelves, ditto paracetamol and loo roll. Aldi was limiting customers to no more than 4 of any item, two chancer's in front of me had scooped up an entire big box of nappies each with 12 packs in each box, the manager stood his ground and they got four packs each. Chatted to one of the local ASDA workers they closed at midnight last night for a complete restock, doors reopened at 06.00 and the hordes were waiting outside, they likened the inward rush to a super market trolley dash.

If I end up self isolating then some rooms in TB towers are going to get redecorated and the garden might look a lot tidier than it does now. What plans do others have if you are stuck self isolating at home for a week or longer?

The same. Living room ceiling needs painting, probably do a feature wall and redo the skirting boards. then I'll probably do some painting in the bathroom and put up a shower screen. The garden can wait......

I was thinking that too, although they’re saying most people won’t have appropriate insurance anyway.

So the government is going to give all those with a mortgage a 3 month holiday. What about those paying rent, and then those paying rent to a landlord who's got a mortgage. Wrong to discriminate against people who rent.

Hairdressers - closed. Beauty Salons - closed. Nail bars - closed.

It's about to get ugly..................;)
