Yet another civvy in RAF clothing..........when you signed up, I assume you didn't put a caveat in saying 'no postings from the rank of corporal upwards'.

Probably a subject for another thread but, full credit to you for putting your family first.........now if you can't commit to the RAF, why not leave. Oh yeah, they pay you too much and there's a recession on.

Were you hoping to make it all the way to WO in situ? Sad thing is........you probably will, while all the other committed good eggs take the posting and the hit on their assessments in the next rank. Stay in situ and you don't need rebuild your reputation from scratch.
