Datasheet for all those insomniacs out there....

Sparkfun have tons of toys to keep Fairys entertained for months...:PDT_Xtremez_30:

Fascinating, but not the real thing, is it.
For a good gyro, you need lots of wiggleys and about 4 cubic feet of space (see Smiths Mk 10). Me? I only played with valves. . . . . (and the occasional OC28)

You should see the size of their SATA drives, Fnar Fnar...:PDT_Xtremez_42:

Hysteresis Loop

Positively filthy ...

Electrical hysteresis typically occurs in ferroelectric material, where domains of polarization contribute to the total polarization. Polarization is the electrical dipole moment (either C·m-2 or C·m).

Oh you cheat; that's RADAR, that is.
::P:

A real Superhet Rx would have at least two IFs (if not three), plus a cluster of demodulators, computer-control input (perhaps), Demod out to external apparatus (digital modes), variable filters, pass-band tuning and lots of other goodies.

OOoooooohhhhh - E&H fields. Gets me every time

**slobber**

I used to teach waveguide theory amongst other things in D-lines (ARTF) at Cosford. No frigger could understand it after I explained how it worked lol.:PDT_Xtremez_35:

This should get your juices flowing. A miller transitron - took me all night to figure this one out. Ramp waveform generator of the T80!

As used in, amongst other things, a Solartron oscilloscope.
I never managed to twig that thing at all!

To all my TG2 cousins I`d like to submit exibit A for the (Air)Defence, your Honour. Surely we must be counted as a fairy subculture if we get aroused with this stuff. The PRF of 21 microsecs ( sorry no Mu on this keyboard ) gives me wood. What I wouldn`t give to get my hands on a pair of well formed plannar triodes and a tuned cavity ... :PDT_Xtremez_15:

And a quick trip down memory lane for the Locking boys ...

Q: What Grey and F***s DE`s
A: Cossor SSR 750
