Go on challenge the system... I double dog dare you!!!! :PDT_Xtremez_42:

Saw an e-mail on Friday from EF the TS which says no decision will be reached until Jan but never said that is when it would be released. :PDT_Xtremez_35:

When did she send it and to whom RAFBird? It would be nice to be able to tell my 60+ stackers WTF is happening

If this is true and you have seen an email rafbird, then do you know why it is not been publicised raf wide? Secondly does it explain why this date is constantly being pushed back further and further ? tHIS IS ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF COMMS IN OUR TRADE, YET AGAIN AT BEST "SHOCKING".

Looking at the thread, it looks like, the original email was sent to Sqn WO's.

Nothing on why we're still waiting, something to with 'consideration as part of PR10', whatever that is. Information will be forwarded as soon as it is known.

At least the Trade Sponsor is trying her best to keep as many people informed with what she knows, when she knows, thru Sqn WO's.

This is all good and well but what about the guys and gals working out of trade, the ones that dont have a Sqn WO??? what do we do, just forget them.......The infomation flow is CRAP (Excuse my french), it says something when we have to rely on a Rumour site............This just isnt good enough!!!!

Well a note to all you suppliers,

The movers have been kept in the dark as much as you over the up banding issue. We scored more points on our assessments than the chefs, adminers and door slammers. In fact i believe our delay is due to the fact the powers that be have had some of our points awarded to you to give you a + score !!

The politics behind the delay in announcing anything to our trade has dragged on for well over a year. We have been told we got it but when the opportunity was given to announce it officially, it wasn't.

I wonder why?

Just tell us please.......

MM

Out of all the rumours i have heard on here regarding pay review, that one really takes the biscuit!!!

Why on earth would they give points to a totally different trade?

The e-mail was sent out to sqn WO's and ours passed it on with regards. I'm sorry that everyone has not been informed (not that it's my fault) It was a very short and sweet e-mail simply saying that no descision would now be reached until Jan 10.

If there are any further questions about it please PM me.

P**s Poor Comms- Again

P**s Poor Comms- Again

the same e-mail surfaced last Friday at a certain Wiltshire base and was forwarded to one and all by the Wobbly Orange

Whilst I don't doubt the authenticity of the e-mail as the IPT Scales God highlights, for those of us without a Sqn WO - we are in the dark having to rely on e-goat and GPTN to find out what the hell is going on
When we highlighted this to the Trade Sponsor 3 months ago we were assured that AIRSPACE Log Web would be the formal route for information and this would address our communication concerns- obviously not!!! Off Topic(after asking why we did'nt already know about it - COMMUNICATIONS!!Off Topic

I have been banging on about communications for ages on this forum and I dont want to sound like a bitter and twisted broken records but it does not seem to be addressed in any form in fact since the 42 magazine has gone its got worse- so much for technology!!!

Thanks I feel better for that!

Thing is mate and I mean this nicely, there is no point banging on about it on here as this is nothing to do with the RAF. If you are having problems being kept in the loop with information like this that you should be told you need to bang on about it to the TS or who ever is parenting you.

Hopefully it will swing both ways...recently a Cpl I know who is permanently downgraded (useless, fat, lazy no OOA and gateguarding-but-can-ride-his-harley- cnut who shares a nickname with a goalkeeper) got signed on for 3 years continuance. All I can say is they must have been really desperate to keep this air-thief in a job who spends more time sick than at work. Hopefully as it sounds like continuance is drying up he will be given the 6 months notice, good riddance to him and his det-dodging ways.

Wow, is he really still in, and how did he get signed on, I thought he was ‘Excit22’. And for someone who got a Big payment for his bike accident for trauma etc… how come he is still riding? And the other big lad is still in…

Anyway, I just thought I would add a little here as a few people have wondered what these points mean, this is from the e-mail that ‘RAF Bird’ mentions and then cleared up by the ‘shiney’s’ upstairs, so if it’s duff gen then I will take his High Pay off him, lol!

The current state is that the decision has been put back to Jan 2010. (We know that)

We are at PR3 – Which means it’s with the MoD finance. (No, there are not 43 levels!)

PR 10 – Relates to Pay Review 10 …ie the year 2010

So what this means is they are assessing this for payment under Pay Review 2010 (You would receive payment from 1st April 2010.)

So, second hand info' but hopefully it helps (and is correct, if not then I would happily accept correction)!

Anyway, just a thought…

What would be really useful is to find out which, if any, ranks are looking at the payrise...then at least those definately out of the frame can forget it. Does anyone know anyone that knows anyone that can find out?!

Well I am glad I have received an answer on my payrise as a Stacker...... Ta ra Air Force and the £15, 000 payrise from top level Cpl will do me nicley ta very much.
Good luck all other fellow Stackers on the payrise front.

Can you please explain your above info, in any more detail. And is the source good or more rumours??

Maybe something after today. Big defence speeches with lots of cut backs possilibly being announced. Doesn't look good.

But hey its nearly Christmas, good will to all men etc etc.:PDT_Xtremez_09:

Ouch...maybe?

Ouch...maybe?

Imagine if the rumours are right and Cpl's & Sgt's are deemed worthy of upbanding(?) and with the defence budget as it is, the MOD say 'OK well done guys, however we haven't got the money to pay you'.

What could the TS or BH do then to passify an already morale beaten and disaffected trade. I must admit the optimist in me is slowly being swamped by a pessimistic and bitter old man, no double entendres intended!

Time for revolution gentlemen? Who's with me!

ps. If we go for it, can I be a general?
