Well, these updates have really just reflected how things have been over the last 22 years for me. Anyone who joined about 1987 to 1989 will know exactly what I mean. We've had c(ap promotion opportunities over the years. We've had c(rap people leading us over the years. Just think about how many zobbs you actually had time for. Not many right. How many shineys have been on the phone from an OOA or detachment back to their MOB and been under fire? Not as many as us I can assure you. Now we have the excitement of 3 year promotions! OMG what the fu(k are those self centred tossers who LEAD us up to! OK.....I've got a job. I suppose it was all worth it then.
 
Had a dream last night, that every stacker hit the PVR button at the same time after being told officially that we have been shafted again! Wonder what would happen.....................

ps. Dream didn't last long before it went back to a naked Kate Bush riding a swan.

It would make it easier for me to rob batteries, and I could get spares quicker ( I get my own spares anyway because it's quicker )

What?! within minutes of a fake announcement regarding upbanding there was a poll on here as to whether it was deserved or not, along with comments such as 'Ive just been sick in my mouth'!

Personally i'm off whatever happens, the future is gonna be pretty grim I tell ya!

I'll tell you what, whilst some Stackers are mongs, i know i earn my crust fully, with enough Q's to earn a little more dosh & why not?
The rumour mill will continue to turn & maybe we will not be rewarded with a bread increase but we should if scribblies have, even though JPA has reduced their workload & Door Slammers have cos 2MT have it hard, though in my experience regular MT Flights do less as we do more. Chefs aren't as OOA committed as before since locally employed civillians are used more & more in theatre.
I don't begrudge any of the Rocks their increase, them boys deserve every penny, they get.
I reckon i personally deserve a bit extra on the paynote just for working with plumbers! (love you all really). I can understand some of the geneal comments as many of you have met Suppliers from the "Never seen a GCSE Brigade" but i earn my crust. As MT have used 2MT to substantiate their worth then why shouldn't the Stacker Massive?
Should Logs (Supply) not get the rise despite outscoring the shineys etc... then legal action will ensue i'm sure! Your comments please.....

Well all the talk was about waiting for PR10 to hit the streets. Its here!! So what is the answer???? We all know its not going to happen but it would be nice to be put out of our misery. When the no answer comes I would like to hear the water tight case that they will have to churn out. God I am not going to miss this SH1T.

I wonder how long it will be before we get the next delayed answer, anyone want to place a bet for Christmas..........2011.

18 months this thread has been going on for.... how very surprising!! Actually I'm more surprised that people are still asking rather than that they haven't released an answer. I'll tell you how the review will go....................

I have just read the AFPRBR10............It might surprise some of you to know..............................wait for it..............................................There is nothing in it about the Trade Group 18 pay review, again it seems we've been sold a kipper......................

2 years and counting, yes Im in talks with my legal team......
 
Guys, I don't want to embarrass you, but the PR10 referred to by the TS, isn't the Pay Review. Its a government initiative that occurs most years...basically to see where to cut corners and avoid overspend.

So actually, no news is good news. These periodic reviews are usually tied into the financial year. Or just to p1ss us off...released on 31 Dec 2010.

Does anyone know who can give us all the answers too the following questions;

1; The people who can tell us all the amount of points we received as a trade, and what is the qualifying points total for upscaling, to the high band

2; What type of timescale have they got if any, to make a decision on our upscaling, to the popstar band.

3; Why is their no communication from the top down as to what the hell is going on.

I have wrote a letter to my MP to hopefully get some of the above questions answered, however if anyone can shed any light on this it would be appreciated.

No idea mate but between us, with your MP letter and my legal team we should get it sorted.......

heard a rumour from a snec at work who says it looks like cpl's and above are to go up to the higher pay band.... i have heard all this before.... anyone know any more on this matter????
 
Well I heard a rumour that I'm going on the high payband and everyone else in the RAF is going to the lower.....

....mind you I'm out in a few months so a win win for the RAF.

I heard a rumour today that this lad *Dave at work has bummed this lass *Sarah down the racks in Tech stores!! I bet that is more real then any of the rumours about the higher pay band! :PDT_Xtremez_42:
