Nice reply by AB.

What a crock! The current financial climate doesn't come into the process of saying yes or no. Funding a yes, maybe? But I would happily wait until the back-dated sum of money is available.

Let me guess when the outcome of this whole farce comes to an end. The Election in May 2010 will have some influence I think.

Until then, we'll chuckle at the thought of the TS doing their darndest to get a reply to an evaluation that was taken in 2008.

GET A GRIP.

I remember being told by someone VERY close to the JE that we scored the same as the paper clip technicians. So by the same token we surely must be entitled to the same rise?

Imagine if an inventory holder or deputy or authorised demander comes in for a piece of equipment. We confirm he is authorised, scales are met and that we have stock on MJDI. BUT, we say to them, 'wait, the extraordinary financial situation in which we find ourselves has played its part in slowing the decision process and so we cannot tell you when or if the demand can be satisfied.

Thanks for your patience. Decision still awaited from job eval last year (thought it was 2 years ago now). Everything being done by TS and COC . All the evidence is with the people who make the decision. The extraordinary financial situation at present has played its part in the delay and the Department seeks to ensure that its expenditure plans are carefully scrutinised. The HoB has been personally engaged at the highest level.

When any more info available we will let you all know. Wait out.

Already happening to a degree in sunny Aki. Hopefully be turned off in new FY though! Yay, free socks!

movers on high pay band

movers on high pay band

Sorry for adding more wood to the fire, but I have just been informed today by a friend that he has had an annual pay rise on his jpa by 10.5%, which brings him in line with the high pay band. Now I must stress that this is not an official statement, however he has got this payrise which has been confirmed with jpac. Just for info his rank is snco AND HE IS A MOVER..

As i said earlier, no news on the better half of TG18 but the movers bit is Gen (apart from the WO bit which is a mistake and they are staying on Upper Band)

No official announcement will be made about this, but ask any NCO mover to show you their JPA bit that shows annual salary and it is on there in black and white.

High band farce

High band farce

Dont need an official announement to know us stackers have been overlooked once again. Trade is in a right state, this is just another kick in the love spuds.
Great way to find out TS- Sort it out!

Just about sums our trade up.....

Good to see movers rise dropped in through back door by appearing on JPA with no formal fanfare. A big kick in face for us waiting to find out if ours has gone through, I guess a big hint that we will not be getting onto the higher payband.

IF it is true, then there will be a lot of disgruntled stackers throwing in the towel and getting out instead of hanging on to get every last penny on a higher pay band, so maybe promotions will pick up a bit when the door is wide open and they all race out?
I still think its an april fools joke though.

It is absolutely true, the movers do have it, and all above the rank of Cpl have got it. However the powers that be are totally embarressed by the way we have all found out this information, and so they should be. Even the SUPPLY&MOVER TS DID'NT KNOW about the payrise or so we are led to believe.

HOW LONG DO WE HAVE TO TAKE THIS B**L S**T. Are trade is an absolute mockery to all in the Air Force and in my opinion a complete JOKE.

Time for every Supplier to remuster to movers.... that would get them panicking!

So, all we have left on the lower payband now are the stewards and stackers.

Why don't they just make 1 payband.....

and a techie payband. :PDT_Xtremez_14:

Actually there are still loads of us on the lower pay band, there's a link on here somewhere...

Still a joke how long this has gone on but good luck to the movers - a mover friend of mine has just confirmed he has the pay rise for definate.
