Actually there are still loads of us on the lower pay band, there's a link on here somewhere...

Still a joke how long this has gone on but good luck to the movers - a mover friend of mine has just confirmed he has the pay rise for definate.

I'm still holding out, loosing hope everyday, what can you say.

Here is a link to the pay ranges, obviously out of date now as it shows the mover on lower band. http://www.rafcom.co.uk/pay_allowances/pdf/PayRanges.pdf

I think he's trying to suggest that the muppets are utterly useless and they make even the most straightforward task look like a troop of monkeys trying to fcuk a football!!!

We must be doing something right seeing as we are now on the higher payband!

Thanks CashMachine, makes sense.

p.s

you haven't got a photo of this troop of monkeys trying to fook a football have you? :PDT_Xtremez_19:

Thing is I doubt anyone would actually PVR due to this situation as in reality we are no worse off, but I would now definately not recommend supply to anyone joining up...pre-empting the negative decision of course which I dont think is jumping the gun...

Congrats to all the mover's im sure they deserve it, however it will be extremely interesting to see the points scored, that both trades got. That WILL be MADE AVAILABLE under the freedom of information act FOR ALL TO SEE.

I also wonder how long it will be for us all to get an apology by the powers that be(trade sponsor). Because of the way we all found out about our trade not getting the payrise. I for one found out about this by a corporal mover not by my supply WO or my chain of command. You would have to be an absolute idiot to join the raf as a supplier now.

Eh, I thought that was a pre requisite? :PDT_Xtremez_14: Only joking.

Reading through this thread, I'm not surprised that many stackers will be well and truly peed off.

It seems that everyone apart from suppliers and AMMs is jumping onto the higher payband. What a really fcuked up Air Force it's become.

I don't want to trade bash here but you'd have to be an idiot to join as a techie too. You might as well save yourself the bother of an arduous training course, and become a mover or admin, and get paid the same with less ranks to progress through, with far less resposibilty.

This news is hot of the press.....

Just been informed that the decision was made three weeks ago about the pay scales, that movers above Cpl had got it and suppliers have not. The reason we have not been informed is that our trade has appealed the decision and we are awaiting a response. However when trades have appealed in the past it has not been very successful.

All.

Be careful in blaming the TS, she has nothing to do with the final decision. If she hasn't let anyone know about the Movers that's because it is not her place! She wouldn't have said anything to us about our review if there was an appeal going thru'. It may well be a kick in the slats if we don't go up but IMHO the whole pay 2000 thing was flawed from day one. Rumourhas it that the MOD are currently looking at a replacement for it as it has become unmanagable (note the highlighted word).

Just bear in mind that if we don't go up a pay band, under the freedom of information act, it is the right of individuals to request any information (as long as it doesn't breach security). Therefore each of us can request the results of the Clerks, Movers and our own boards. We are a big trade, how much work would that cause Air Command?

I don't believe many people blame the TS, I for one, do not. However that's not to say this whole fiasco could and should of been handled a lot better than it has. Not just by the trade sponsor but all involved. I understand that our TS is under alot of presure about this subject however finding info about the payscale from other trades, about our own is completely unexceptable.

Well peeps, I think it's laughable and I'm now more glad than ever I'm out in a few months.

I would now advocate anyone wishing to join up to avoid Supply with a big sh1tty one.

To all thats left you have my sympathy that you are valued less than a shiney and now less than a muppet and are seen on equal footing as a trolley dolly.

Techies... this is another kick in the slats that you are valued the same as a muppet now too.

I believe that the old TS has banged a Freedom of Info request in. I'm right behind her too.... They have a month to comply. As Stax said... I think all Stackers should do so too.
