Redundancy

Tuesday is D Day, got a feeling alot of my trade will be axed as well as most others, what are everyones thoughts?

Don't bet on it. Plenty of Typhoon groundcrew applied last time around and more than a few were successful. OC XI was livid - he couldn't understand why anyone selected to work on the jewel in the RAF crown would want to leave.

I know a few guys on XI, and it doesnt sound the slightest bit fun lol

Just goes to show that the orifficers ic don't have scoobie about what is happening or being said on the shop floor.....

I worked on XI in the 80's and it wasn't much different....although we weren't the jewel then......just the last Lightning sqn.
