TG3/11 Amalgamation - Is It Working??

Just been sent some update from the TRADE sponsor
and it reports that TG4 is a success and that we need to continue to work hard and not become complacent.....

Tell that to the TG3 CTs /JTs/SAC(T)s who were devalued.
Tell that to the TG3 SGTS who have had no promotion for years.
Tell it to the CPLS (both) that have the same to look forward too.
Tell it to the TG4 IMs that have to have TG3 background for the gucci overseas jobs.
Tell it to the OMs who will be called back to cosford once they decide how they will be selected.

A motivated workforce will want to work hard to keep it a success.....TG4? well we are just waiting for our pension.
The skills are going, the promising people are going, the motivation has gone.
I think it is all too late to stop the rot now.

Not strictly true. The TG3 side of the house was gapped for long periods of time while it was all going on. By the time somebody was posted in, the damage was done.

Right I read the latest off the CISMST web and it says they are all still in thier jobs but have moved to HALTON. So he is the WO trade sponsor but he has a proper officer above him, hopefully with a spine and some functioning ears.

Good to see "the Wing" are being kept upto date (or should that be the UNIT now?)

as for looking after the TG11 lads I am sure most of them would have been happier with a redundancy package?

Not on the wing mate. However I was when I joined this site. "the wing" are part of the unit. Not its whole.

If you have only just signed up you will be okay because by the time you will be eligible for promotion it will be 2012 so you will get promoted over everyone else that is still in.

Become a Sgt's project, kiss ass big time and smoke/drink/generally socialise with them. Works! Not done it myself but have seen two people scream to their tapes after 3 assessments! By the time boyo has done recruit trg and play group trg he'll be well within the sights for promotionDT_Xtremez_43:

Met the sponsor last week, shook his hand, counted to make sure all my fingers were still there and then listened in amazement to the story about how good TG4 is.

If TG4 is so good, why are they being posted into Commcens with f*** all idea about even basic comms, i.e. typing, 127 format, the 131 bible. Total waste of time (apart from making tea), likewise, why send a good TG11 to the Sandpit to work in the IM room, when he has f*** all idea of anything with electric string etc !! P & P, P P P P comes to mind

Oh it will work, but I foresee a lot of the experts leaving the Force sooner rather than later

I think i know one of the guys you are talking about , from what i hear he never took tea breaks was always in early and left late but spent the majority of his time doing secondary duties and no real work .
