The missus gave me a dirty look when the Thai massage parlour came on.

Yet again the ground crew get overlooked. Hopefully when the programme returns later in the year it will dedicate a whole episode to the Chinook engineers. Or are they just XS to requirement?

Got to admit that last nights program was far better than the previous two, but then again I thought they were heading down a slippery path when the PTI ran over towards his 'fans' another group of PTI loving girlies but luckily it was swerved and the episode retained some credibility. Showing the Regiment lads out and about, the Chinooks doing their bit and of course some downtime with the strongest man comp is what they should've benn showing from the start. Not sure why it's coming back later in the year but it could be due to a re-edit, just hope it comes back with similar topics showing the rest of the RAF in goodlight and repair some of the damage that the previous episodes did.
I think its great.
It shows the Rocks off in a good light cause they do a great job, it overlooks the techies (who work 24/7 to keep the jets/cabs fit to help get the ground troops out of the sh1te) cause they dont exist and shows what the to$$ers on a 4 month tour get up to on thier fu**ing tour holiday as usual.
So much for slagging those folk at Al Udied off when Khr is a vastly superior camp.
And before you start with the mortar ****e try Basra for that where you live in a tent, have a cot bed and limited EFI shops and then moan.

Yes mate but we've all got our own war stories to tell, pull up a sandbag and I'll tell you mine about being in a shell scrape in Iraq if you like!!
Believe me matey 4 months in Afghanistan was no 'holiday' tour as you so eloquently put it!
Have we not got a Thread for "pulling up a sandbag". It strikes me that some of the less funny stories could be worth an airing.
Tiss Ok I have been and done a sunshine tour in Bas 3 times so have my own little stories to tell, cheers for the offer tho!! ;-)

Is it me or has maybe a bit of emergency editing happened, as one of its mega stars has 'mysteriously disapeared'..............
Who ? the self proclaimed " star of the show " ( acording to her page on facebook anyway !! ) thought it was a quiet episode last nite thought i'd gone deaf !!!:
Hmmm! Not too sure if I am being thick and looking in the wrong place but either they have moved this programme from the 9pm Monday night slot or someone, somewhere has pulled the plug. Ive just checked my sky plus to record and series link as I missed monday night's.... Again! and next monday's aint there folks! Can anyone enlighten me...... or make me look a fool?

Surely that would make it better to show now while still in the publics very short memory ?

I agree it would jolt the publics sences a bit particurly after the first "Butlins" episode I assume it's as a mark of respect to the lads involved and their families many of whome may still be at Headley Court etc recovering

OK....have just watched the first episode (channel 5 version of BBC iplayer is crap BTW) and can but also can't see the problem.......ok...kate the bumbling Welsh admin/PR girl......the point is MOST female adminers i have known are just like her......then you get on the teh "New" regiment, well ok they are not new per se but new to the place and I thought the send off was normal (well thats very similar to what has happened to me in the past), the arrival, overwhelming as you would expect.
OK....so the dutch have a disco.....then again they do love to dance and are crazy feckers.....kate did say the US marines were a bit boring as expected so come on guys she can't really be that bad can she ?
What camp is she from anyways, does anyone know ?

Just watched the 3rd program there and it kinda touched a nerve. When that PT instructor got in the showers you saw his Knob but when that lass was in the showers in the first episode where were the Titties!? Its political correctness gone mad I tell you!DT_Xtremez_34:
