Swinderby Jan '85 - not sure what Flt, my memory is a bit fcuked up these days! :PDT_Xtremez_42:

Me too! I was 16 yrs old but there was one guy who was younger than me. I seem to remember wearing a green cravat thingy, rather than blue, but for the life of me I cannot remember what flt it was. I believe we also had the coldest MFT on record - 6 foot of snow or something!

Swinders Jan 10 1990 - what a riot and where my love of the music of Depeche Mode began!

DM 101 - the ultimate cleaning tape, who needs Cillit Bang??

Got there 8th Jan - aged 16! Could have been me!

And as for MFT - f***ing cold and a bus crash on the way back!!! Geat :PDT_Xtremez_35:

Swinderby Jul-Aug 1989, Cpl ***** and Sgt********were the DIs. Still got my Flt T-shirt, although it doesn't quite fit. My kids wear it to bed.

Rudloe Manor will always be my spiritual home. It's where I found who I was. Four amazing years (thinks happy thoughts). What other camp has a nightclub 100 yards from the main gate!!

I was a week behind you - we were told about the bus crash and listened in awe when we got told one of the guys smashed his teeth out on the seatback in front. No seatbelts in them days, you kids don't know you're born, etc, etc!

Had to get off the crashed busses and run back to Camp as we had guns with us.

Quite a few injuries but that didn't stop the Rocks/DIs forcing everyone to run back.

Think a few of the injured got hoofed out cos they were unfit to carry on training!

Happy Days - not!!!!:PDT_Xtremez_25:

Halton Feb 1997 on 10 Flt, my Sgt DI was also one of the instructors on JMLC when I went through ACS in 02 which was nerve racking, he even remembered me....:PDT_Xtremez_09:
