Shearer

Shearer

Albert park i hope your not gloating in nucazzels hour of need..??

I now hope the looney toons get what they deserve shera princess of power, then when he fails all the excuses will have been used. 50,000 does not make you a big club, you have a failed bank on your shirts, you have won fnuk awl for years, I did hear a dog food company wanted to sponsor you when northern rock went bust, but winalot on nucazzel shirts would not seem right.

Shearer is Mike Ashley's only realistic appointment now.

Old Twitchy was first choice (I can't understand how BFS was sacked without a ready-made successor), which means anyone else other than Shearer will be looked upon by the Jawdees as soiled goods.

It's win-win regarding Shearer as far as Ashley is concerned.

IF he (Shearer) makes a success of it then Ashley is seen as the man who made a king.
WHEN he (Shearer) makes a balls-up, Ashley will say 'It's what you wanted'.

Wake up and smell the coffee Newcastle, who do they think they are. They can't win a raffle let alone a match, their team is inept and packed full of overpaid so called players. Sam didn't stand a chance and in my opinion "Sam, you are well out of it, they don't deserve you" All we hear is Newcastle are a sleeping giant and a big club and they seem to think they have a divine right to win the premiership, they can't win a cup competition, face up to it you are not good enough, you will only succeed when you realise this, pick a manager and stick with him or her, now there's a thought!!

Oh here we go - king gobsh!te strikes again. Your knowledge of football could be put on the back of a postage stamp with room for the Lords prayer...

No-one at Newcastle thinks they have a 'divine right' to win anything, the boo-boy fans are very much in the minority, (a small group in the Gallowgate end actually, and a smattering in the Milburn - and they get barracked for it, believe me), and I think you'll find there are more "overpaid and inept" players at other clubs than at SJP. This is exactly how the media wants you to think, and suckers like you fall for it all the time.

Trouble with you is - you're either a rugby fan, a Stoke fan (or god forbid a m*ck*m) or i've spilt your milk lately. Grow up, bucko...

You got that spot on, mate.

My worst fear is if they appoint that professional Mike Baldwin lookalike, Steve f*cking McClaren...

Just noticed you're one of the "prawn sandwich" brigade - that says it all, glory hunter - which part of Manchester are you from? Hackney? Knightsbridge? Hampstead?

I doubt if Ferguson would nowadays get the two years or however long it took for him to be a success at ManUre - and at least Citeh are a lot more a Mancunian's team...

Tell me you wouldn't gloat if the footy boot was on the other foot!!!

Ghandi

Ghandi

Come on ghandi joking aside, who do you think the top 3 are for the slot and who will be sat in the seat in 3 yrs time...

If the reports that Shearer has thrown his hat in the ring are correct, I think he's gotta be given a chance. It's an itch that needs to be scratched and unlike Mark Hughes etc would actually recieve a bit of patience and support from the Sky era fans, regardless of results due to who he is. If he doesn't get it after making his interest known he will be looming over the next guy like a vulture.

The guy has no experience but isn't a total mug and like the last two guys who actually managed to have us competing has a connection to the club and the area. However he has a legacy which he could tarnish but equally if he gets it right he could further cement his legendary status among the fans.

The only other names to have been mentioned really are both Hughes and Strachan neither of which I can see actually leaving their current clubs for Newcastle (I suspect Hughes fancies the Man Utd job and wouldn't want to risk that by failing at Newcastle). If anything they'd use the approach as a way of eeking a bit of extra tranfer funds from their current chairmen, as I suspect Harry already has done.

As I've stated before this will be the current regimes first appointment and in my opinion sets the tone for the next few years. While Redknapp would have presented a step up from the functional football played by Allardyce, it would hardly have been an appointment to set the pulses racing.

While most Newcastle fans appreciate that the real top quality managers will not consider managing a club outside of the champions league, there is something about Newcastle which will make it attractive to managers with an ego and fancy themselves a bit. Because of the lack of trophies in living memory for many if they do deliver a trophy the will be considered a legend, much more so that most other clubs.

IF Shearer did get the job, how long before the SHEERRRRRA OOOOOT chants echo round Sid James' Park? Fat Astley has stated he expects Champions League football within 3 years.

TBH, the only way he's going to experience Champions League in that timescale is if he buys a PSP or an X-Box. :PDT_Xtremez_31:

Can't believe that f*cking 6-0 today, no way were we that bad. First half we were frustrating the sh!t out of them, they were losing it big style. And we should have gone in 1-0 up, offside my @rse. It's f*cking hard enough getting any goals at OT. F*cking c*nt of a linesman, his f*cking eyesight was still sh!t when he awarded Tevez's goal. Whole of the ball, linesman, whole of the ball...

Now as for that greasy tw@t Ronaldo. The OT sniper was out again today wasn't he? F*cking hell Ronaldo must have had about a dozen bullets in him, the number if times he spent flat out on his @rse. And that freekick he got for stubbing his toe in the turf!!

I don't doubt that ManUre are a good side, but this cheating stuff irritates the f*ck out of me. Fair enough they were better than us today, but not by 6-0....
