Really Majid Narez. Have you read the article.
Times one? Yes I have. When you examine their timelines it's a mess but it does make a good headline.

If you don't like the messenger fair enough but you hardly refuted his assessment of it. ps his name is Maajid Nawaz, makes me think you didn't pay attention to his rebuttal.

As I said, he's no Tory, but he doesn't tend to be partisan in his approach.

Here's some direct scientific advice, pre Cheltenham I think.

Yes I did listen to it. I heard it live. He's entitled to his views. Doesn't mean they're right.

When the next election comes along and not before; I will have another hard and critical look at all the party manifestos, leaders and their cling ons and decide from there.
Bear this in mind. Labours manifesto promises everything that Riki Dubai delivered in his budget before the corvid19 crisis.

Dont think that’s quite right, Corbyn claimed the budget that took place just as the crisis kicked off justified his approach to spending during normal times, not quite the same thing either.

Anyway nobody trusted the Labour Party at the time and they got a drubbing, the poll of polls website suggest that people’s opinions have yet to change.

If Labour come back as a credible party of power then the middle will vote for them, if they continue to play the victim and offering freebies, free internet anyone, then they’ll languish a little longer.

In this instance why is there a need to hide them? If it is true and the Government really has a*sed it up then the sources have nothing to hide.
Do you really think nothing wouldn't happen with Dominic Cummings in downing st.

Someone is telling porkies.
.....,............
The permanent under-secretary and head of the diplomatic service says govt decision not to participate in the EU ventilators/medical kit WAS a political decision.

(Now he's backtracked on what he said to a parliamentary committee. Whos got to him)

Gove said on March 29 (#Marr) govt didn’t join scheme because of “some communication confusion”

Hancock

But asked about it at the daily Downing St briefing Mr Hancock explained: "The invitation when it came in to the Department for Health - and I know there has been debate about whether it was sent to the wrong email address initially - to participate in this scheme in an associate way, because we are not members of the EU, came to me for decision and I said: yes.”

Hancock agreed

Who is telling the truth. Tell me this is a government who are all singing from the same song sheet

Who actually gives a sh1t aside from you? Stop scratching around for insignificant points to yet again start a red v blue brawl again?

No, I dont. As I said, it would be no different if Labour were in power and we had Seumas Milne in Downing Street either. Its interesting to note that over the last month Labour have largely supported the Governments approach to dealing with this virus; it gives me some hope that in a time of national crisis all parties can come together and work in the national interest.

It's got nothing to do with red v blue. It's there in the news. Ministers can't get even their stories straight, on one issue. Then you've got a top civil servant who changes his story a few hours later. If he's that incompetent why is he in the job. I'd say the same if labour were in charge.

There's been a long tradition of the media quoting unnamed sources so why should this one news item be different for you to say they should have been named.

Would that be like the top civil servant Priti Patel managed to rid herself of?

Everyone makes mistakes. It’s a human trait. Given the amount of information these people are expected to take on board it is hardly surprising they f**k up. Perhaps it would be a better idea to stop having briefings every single night and just do two a week; the information can be checked properly and journalists can think up even more stupid questions to ask ministers. Personally, I don’t care. I only care about how this is continuing to destroy our economy and how fast the Chinese are going to pay the large bill we’ll send them.

Lets get this back onto topic of Coronavirus now please...

If you want to start a topic about why a vast majority of the country choose to not vote for Labour start a new thread.
