Totals raised

Totals raised

I will try and find out what the total raised so far by everybody at work tomorrow. I sorry that we haven't been more informative from 6, but life is pretty hectic at the mo with the drawdown. We have got a stand for the Sunday at Waddo Airshow and hopefully a QinetiQ kite may be there to help us.

Nicks Mates has been very busy on admin side and the RAF is trying to help Nick as much as it can with his case. We thank everybody who has come up with some great ideas that just require other routes to be explored before they can be looked at.

Will keep all posted..

If the members here wish to advertise this fund elsewhere by means of a signature bar, I've made one up.

When it's entered it will look like my signature bar.....

MiTV has posted this appeal on the online gaming clans/ladders that he is involved in.

£90 was paid to their paypal acct within 2 hours. This appeal for funds is running until 21st June and any funds will be transfered to the goat fund.

I am posting the appeal to a few other forums tonight and will wait and see what develops.

Nick, Good Luck m8... perhaps your fight will help the powers that be see that people are individuals and cannot be prescribed to on the basis of cost. All the best
xx

SW.

Excellent news and well done. Just to make the guys aware over there. Paypal charge a fee per transaction and the more they donate to our Paypal account from theirs, the higher the fee is going to be for us.

Is there any chance they can donate straight to our account?

MM

Yes, MiTV realised that and we will sort it our end.... Thanks anyway. It just makes them feel more involved and he can chivvy anyone who promises and doesn't pay!!!

When I link them I will get the other forums to donate direct though.

MM,

Don't worry about the charges mate. I'll cover them. Hoping to have just over a ton off the geeks (can call em that, I am one!!) in a few days.

SW,

Update

Update

Hello Peeps,

Will try to get an exact figure on Monday. Working on some big politicians at the moment, and we have some Houses of Parliament memorabilia coming which we plan to raffle.

Have also had a bloke taking cool pictures of Jags today. He plans to sell them and donate the profits.

Cheers,

Nick's Mates

Several of the girls where I work are wanting to do some form of fund raising for Nick. I've spoken to my personel manager and she has stated that someone from the RAF would need to write to Morrisons head office as any official fund raising or charity events have to be given permission first. With permission from head office it would mean that all Morrisons stores would then be able to have fund rasing and charity events.

So who in the RAF would be the best person to bug the life out of Morrisons HQ as there are quite a few staff who are wanting to have an official fund raiser?

The fund is now at an amazing £1815.02

Lets keep those donations rolling in.

Hi Guys,

We were alerted to this thread by a member of the RAF who regularly game with us on Call Of Duty 2,

We clubbed together and were able to reach the donation that we sent to you as a Game clan, only sorry that we couldn't do it all the time !

To Nick,

Sorry to hear about your plight m8, you guys do an amazing job with keeping this country safe !!

To the Government/NHS,

You people that send members of our armed forces to war and foreign countries to protect Britains interests abroad and members of this world who find themselves surpressed by corrupt governments and officials should take a long hard look at yourselves,

You may think your correct in withholding this drug from people like Nick but if you had half the balls Nick was born with you would not be sat hidden away from the frontline, safely in your mod-conned office while you expect these guys to do their duty !

Nows the time that you stand up and be counted, one of OUR GUYS NEEDS YOUR HELP - Do the decent thing for once and help out for christs sake you give enough away in foreign aid etc - have you never heard the phrase "Charity begins at home"

Visit us some time at www.desert-rats.co.uk

Good Luck Nick,

Our thoughts are with you m8 - You dont deserve to be treated like this !
