Help needed to shut up a bullsh***er

Ok this is what the story is ... A total bull shi***r of my aquantence who has no hope of being promoted while there's a hole in spammys arse.

claims he was 28 on this board ... When I asked him where he'd been offered on promotion claims his boss didn't tell him but said to consider if he wanted to accept promotion and then the boss would inform manning of his decision.

obviously said bull shi***r doesn't realise the process of being offered a posting as part of the promotion process ... What I'm asking for is for the real number 28 or anyone who has access to the list who could let me know (by private message obviously) if they could let me know who 28 was ... So I can put this arse in his place once and for all

I know many many people who have no hope of ever getting promoted, but somehow the board see it differently!
I am sure some years they do it on purpose, for a laugh!
I have also heard of people being released before a posting is confirmed.

What was the original quota? Was it 50?

The next cpl-sgt board quota is 25, although I have heard the sgt-FS mai increase from 4 to ?? so that might suggest an increase on the 25 sgts.

Anyone one heard similar?

If you look on the spreadsheet there are more than 4 FS/WOs leaving the RAF this year. So I would think the number would be higher anyway, minus posts that are being gapped dis-established.

The Quota / Prediction for 2012 was 40 mate. They have managed to get over it pretty well this year. Although I heard the cut off was 47 not 48...... Who knows!

According to the list, and as long as the EED (expected exit date) is correct, up until Mar 14, there are 6 WOs and 7 FSs, which should be an increase in the cpl-sgt quota for this year, the quota. Of 25 seems to be airing on the side of caution.
 
not sure about that cashew. there are a large number of Sgt positions being lost in Holland/Belgium
shortly.......10+ are not being replaced
