From my time there there were some good guys who did deserve to get picked up, given they had actually worked and not just dished out the odd mobile phone/fax machine as DATO at RAF Sleephollow. There were also some dubious guys who clearly got picked up under the old scheme of "he's so sh1t if he gets picked up he's out of my hands".There are always three options if you're in the mindset of 90SU getting the lions share of promotions:1 - join 90.2 - be bitter.3 - kiss ass more/polish the bosses brass. I hear from a bloke down the pub this can work too.

If you consider that you are up there and in with a shout as long as you have a green tour on the mighty 90 then you'll be considered for promotion with those currently on 90. If you have stayed away from 90 (whether it was your choice or not) and had thought you were in an important Ops focussed role, then forget it - it won't be worth rummaging through that cornflake box for your prize.
