Another whisper I'm afraid folks! but I have just been told that JPA is telling the truth. Mover's do have it and supplier's don't. Not official, however I believe this will be, by the end of the month. Sorry but I feel you all probably new this anyway.

TBH, if the JPA system has updated the salary, then no spokesman/woman could argue that no decision has been made.

Don't know about any of you other Stackers out there but I am so BORED of this subject it's obvious we're not getting the rise to the high pay band, so we just need to forget about it and get on with it, what we've never had we'll never miss.

I know that the lack of communication is what's p!$$ing most of us older (20+ years service) stackers off but we've surely been in long enough to expect nothng more.

No, it's the fact that most of us who have been in over 20 years are now on mark time with the wages. No promotion prospects (or low, just like the 90's) and more OOA's.

Nonetheless, you are right about just getting on with it.

Well us Techies have been discussing this at work today . Movers only do work when they are OOA , in the UK they are non existent apart from places like Brize where they have there own head stuck up there own arse that straight away you leave the UK hating them .

Why not give all people a high pay rise when they deploy. You get paid according to work ethic and OOA movers do work what I have seen but also suppliers do there fair share. all they have done now is put a huge barrier up and split people. I dont give a **** really as Im in Techie world and we moan all the time , but if this is 100% true then I feel for the suppliers on this

:S First of all, hello everyone, first post oooooh!
After reading some of the latter comments I was a bit shocked to see comments like "never mind just get on with it" and "never had it so wont miss it". Bearing in mind that although an unofficial site, it is fair to say that people in high places do read these threads. So can I say NO, I wont just get on with it. If more people in high places see that we are becoming more and more P155ed off with the way we are being treated they might take note. I have spoken to a lot of my fellow TG18's and morale is at an all time low. "if ever it was high anyway". I am appalled that we are being kept in the dark for so long over the outcome of this Job Evaluation. Especially as I was interviewed. Party line statements like the "current financial state" does not cut it. That has no bearing on the result what so ever. What is more worrying is that "we" may soon be the lowest paid trade in the RAF. Were is the equality in that?

Do you honestly think that the people in high places give a toss how low morale is???? Of course they don't, all they give a monkeys about is their next promotion, they tow the party line and make the right noises at the right time and hew presto another one gets promoted.

At the end of the day you will have to just get on with it or chuck your hat in. You are in the RAF me old son, take a look around you, no equality anywhere! Man up and get on with it.

Stackers have no issue on Flight Safety . Movers do. I think thats the reason

Granted we don't have a direct influence on the a/c as such but (just a a matter of adding to the debate) how about POL, elastomeric's et al ? BY NO WAY am I comparing it to the physical aspect of fixing any fault, but doesnt this contribute ?

In the Fuels world of Supply there is a massive flight safety issue. Why do you think that after an aircraft crashes, the first thing the powers at be will do is quarantine the fuel at the last known refuel stop. Before the fuel finally gets to the aircraft, the fuel undergoes Blending (to stop water particles in fuel from freezing at low temperatures and high altitudes) as well as many other QA checks. I can't believe that 'Billy Bunter' is so niaive to think that 'Stackers' have no issue on Flight Safety or is he just on a fishing trip to provoke TG18.

Touche!! However the can of worms has only just been opened. When the bad news is released officially, then we will see the power of the collective come to fruition.

Granted. But this will only happen if "EVERYONE" in TG18 tries to re-muster to a higher paying trade! ooh the shockwaves!!

Just a wee thought:-

So they don't give us the higher pay band, disillusioned people then pvr, easy for the RAF to let you out at the minute, manning starts to come down?

As Aldergrove,Kinloss,Cyprus, which are looking or have disbanded then these are going to fill quite a lot of spaces in the other UK units.

I don't know if I'm barking up the wrong tree but i would not surprise me at all if that was certain peoples thought process?

I find it strange that Movers got it but we haven't (so far) which doesn't sound too good. But stranger things have happened at sea. Maybe we need to realise that supply has far to many muppets running our trade! The higher up they get worse they get (gratis to the many few that are actually decent)
