I told you look at the movers website!! lol its been released by our TS and we have a hard copy now.... YEAH!!! hmmm new car i think.

Congrats to all that got it.....:PDT_Xtremez_30:

Off TopicThanks for TELLING me, I asked a reasonable question about a link that's all so stick your telling up your @rse!:PDT_Xtremez_32:

It seems that they did not want Supply to flip-flop from High to Lower pay band. Does this mean that the Cpl's did reach the magic number but the Sgt's didn't?
With this in mind, would any Cpl who got offered their third, take it?
Can anybody shed any light on this?

The email mentions the 'flip flop' for movs not suppliers...i.e Cpls are higher and Sgts were discretionary - hence they want to avoid Cpls staying where they are rather than take their third by upbanding the Sgts as well.

In Suppy Cpls didnt reach the magic number, and Sgts were in the discretionary field but even if they didnt make it there would be no 'flip-flop' as Cpls are staying lower.

If anything in response to your question 'would any Cpl take their third' I'd say the jump from low Cpl to high Sgt is a pretty big incentive!

Pay Review

Pay Review

Why oh Why when both trades were evaluated at the same time (or a DAY apart) do we have to wait for April 11?????Im sure its easy for guys and gals to action a manual amendment to JPA. So why did the movers get it this month and we have to wait for 2011. I dont know the facts but surely the decision for both trades was made at the same time??? Is it the fact we are a larger trade and can they legally do this???Either we all get it for April 10 or we all wait for April 11, how can you say you get it but because there are more you lot you dont.....and what happened to our Cpls??? are they now not worthy????? Answers someone PLEASE

Up my **** thats nice thanks for that lol, dont worry nothing can bother me today.... as i am a mover..Now That's Funny

Pay rise

Pay rise

Its nice to see the upper tier is being looked after, as has been mentioned previously what about the hard working corporals? Hopefully my promotion and move to TSW will coincide with Apr 11, but will I be doing enough to earn it there?

The whole system is corrupt and we all know it! I think the powers that be have been quite sneaky about this whole sordid affair. Very clever to put the SNCO'S ON HIGH PAY BAND keep the mess happy and the rest will fall in line. THEY WILL NOW JUST TELL THE REST OF US, OH WELL CRACK ON. LIFE IN A BLUE SUIT AND ALL THE OTHER BOLLOCKS THAT WE ARE TOLD.

Why is the trade dead? I don't get this...people new what they were getting paid, some ranks are going up, surely that is an incentive to work harder for promotion?

If you like what you do and profess to love the job does it really make a difference if you are on high or low? Surely you aren't going to join a trade based purely on it's pay banding?

That is assuming of course that there are gonna be slots for promotion, which if I remember rightly aren't out there in their hundreds or even tens and not for the near future either.......so good luck in the lucky dip that will become the promotion board (hundreds of candidates for a few slots).

Yes, can see plenty of SNCO's staying on as far as they can now, don't blame then, i would. Oh well.

Dont forgrt to GAZ what little morale was left inside the JNCo's.
That's the final kick in the swingers for me. They can shove there promotion now. I no longer have the desire or motivation to push anymore. Time for a few more quals and then off.

Thus creating less competition for those that stay on and weather the storm.

Ah! Reminds me of the early 90's! Those were the days.

SCAF,

Please recondition the following, immediately:

GRS Qty 450 Lower payband Cpl Supplier 'S'

RIR Qty 450 Lower payband Cpl Supplier 'R2'

Line 7 details: IAW outcome of JE Dec 2008.

Then raise a Form 6 and arrange for morale workshops (Manning) to facilitate repair with OOA.

What promotion prospects - Sgts will stay in longer, limited numbers due to post movements etc .... list endless. Not enough time left in to weather the storm, give up now and surrender to the pension fund I guess.

I surrendered years ago!!!

Didn't admin have their review at the same time and got theirs upbanded last year? It's a ball ache you've got to wait, but at least it's a positive result for some. Surely a year's wait is better than a No!

And with one swift swoop, the trade goes back to the early nineties. one word stagnation! Although very clever by the powers that be. Rule one of an high ranking officer. Keep the SNCO'S mess happy, and the rest will naturally fall into line. Watch how quickly this thread will die and the heirachy have yet again made the right tactical move.

You're so lucky!

But surely you can only GXD when these fellows are below the 250 GBP threshold (?). I believe every JNCO is a P store, so GAZing them and awaiting Range Manager response for disposal is the correct procedure.

I am probably wrong, too long in NATO and no JSP's in my favorites to double check.
