It seems like a decision has been made, however they are deciding if they can afford giving us the higher pay band? Seems very strange when it comes to our trade all the delay that is happening?

I wish they would hurry up. I want to put a deposit down on a new car & go on holiday. Hurumph! :PDT_Xtremez_25:

As more time passes by the more sceptiic I get... I think ACOS manning should prepare themsevles for a rush on PVRs from the SNCO's..JNCO's...amongst us!

Alledgedly from a Senior Staff Officer

I am sure that you are aware that the Logistics (Mover) and Logistics (Supplier) Trades are currently going through the Joint Service Job Evaluation Team (JSJET) process to review and determine the pay band for each rank. I write to update you of where we currently are in the process as I believe that there is a false expectation that the results will be announced soon; however, this is not the case. Following a successful benchmark visit by the JSJET to Brize Norton during Oct 08 and comprehensive Trade reviews at the MoD during Nov 08, the JSJET cases are now being staffed through both Air Cmd and the MoD. This staffing process could take some time and will need to be endorsed at 2* level. If you are concerned that the length of the staffing process might potentially disadvantage your staff's pay in the near future, please note that any pay increase awarded as part of this JSJET review would not take effect until 1 Apr 10. I can assure you that when the results are decided, we will inform you immediately; I hope that we will have something more concrete to update you with by the spring. Additionally, please note that while JSJET is undoubtedly creating a great deal of interest at unit level, speculation on the outcome of the review is unhelpful to say the least. Please can you disseminate this information to your staff.

Where did you get that from? I haven't seen it or heard a word from the TS' office and given that I have over 60 stackers here I would have expected to. What you are quoting looks pretty official, if it is I will be counselling someone at HW about communication in short, easy to understand words.:mad::mad:

Heard a whisper that the decision has slipped (again) so don't go putting down payments on anything anytime soon, if we are successful then those who are lucky enough to be recognised for what they do and be moved onto the higher band will not see any change in wages until April 2010 as the budgets have been ratified for this year.

If they do say yes today/tomorrow or in September (not that I'm saying they are going to decide in September so calm yourselves), we would still not get any rise until 1st April 2010, sorry to repeat myself but not sure how many people are actually aware of that, oh yeah and the other trade being considered is Logs (Movers) and trust me they're just as interested in finding out as us Stackers, that's not a opening to start trade bashing it's just for info.

The new TS will probably be doing her level best to continue the work of the previous one so patience is what is called for, then hopefully we will receive some good news.

On a completely different note I am celebrating being in the Royal Air Force for 18 years today, so I'm just waiting for a someone to tell me they were born after I joined to take the shine of things and make me feel old...

Happy New Year to one and all.

I got it from another RAF Rumour Site, but I believe it's been officailly bounced around the Senior Movers/Stackers at my station.

Which other RAF Rumour site? As important as the final decision is, it is the p1ss poor comms that is p1ssing me off right now. Please PM me if you have anthing further that it wouldn't necessarily be appropriate to post on here.

Is there anymore news on the pay board effort? I see this thread is going down the list quicker than liverpools title hopes!!!!! I'm a Spurs fan don't worry I can take plenty of abuse!!

But seriously has there been any time frame given, or any other gen?

Err yes. Wait out!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unfortunately the decision has been put on back burner for now as another Logs trade is also under review. Should, the award be given it would not be implemented until Apr 2010 anyway.

High Pay Band??????

High Pay Band??????

The longer this goes on the more I think its going to be bad news......Been here before and seen this more than once..... I do hope this is wrong but like i said the longer it drags out................If were not going to get it why keep us hanging????? :PDT_Xtremez_42::S:PDT_Xtremez_35::PDT_Xtremez_06:

Getting near

Getting near

It is about time this thread got back into the lime light. Must be getting near to the announcement date now. Anybody got any further info. Where are the rumour moungers when you need them.:PDT_Xtremez_19::PDT_Xtremez_30:
The stackers are going up:S

As said on here before decision needs to be in by October so still a little time left to go before they say no, Movers having a review at same time and with the credit crunch all around us I for one am not holding out much hope for this...

Credit crunch was around last year when those people who sit on their asses all day in SHQ doing diddly squat got up-banded. Surely it is whether we made the grade in the scoring etc.:PDT_Xtremez_42::0

As September is fast approaching I thought I would drag this thread up again. Does anyone have any genuine info on this, it is my understanding that a decision must be made before the cut off date in October, otherwise it will run over to 2011.

It is somewhat disturbing that Supply is always left hanging and yet other trades such as Squippers (Not Squipper bashing, just using them to make a point!) were told almost immediately. Every review this happens, it beggars belief how they can just keep putting this off, we either made the ‘points’ or we never… where is the gray line there… anyone?

Anyway, just a thought…
