tech vs non-tech
tech vs non-tech
It's not a tech vs non-tech thing. It's a flying sqn vs people working in 8-5 jobs whatever their trade. As stated by Monobrow - the 2 winged master race have to punch holes in the clouds for a certain amount of time per month. What time of day they do this depends on what tasks they need to complete to get their "ticks in boxes" This then impacts our start and finish times. You want to add an hour onto those times to do the PT then we're already "overworked." I'm currently working (on average) 48-50 hours a week and your ENTITLEMENT from the European Directoive is ONE uninterrupted 20 minute session for your lunch. On a flying Sqn that's about right. I didn't say it was fair - when you see the daisies running round the ring road for an hour.
tech vs non-tech
I didn't think this was going to turn into a techie vs non-techie bunfight. We have enough of those and they are not usually disguised as something else. If you like we could compare notes on total hours worked over the last 14 years (or however long you have been in, if it's less). I would bet one of your shiny liney pounds that you are way behind the drag curve.
