That looks more like an end of year summary to me. They talk about the X-factor in past tense.

False alert.....

The same appears in the January edition....

There is some good news, in a back-handed kind of way. I heard on the radio this morning that 1/3 of married quarters are still considered sub-standard. If that is so, I think the planned rise in married quarter charges to something resembling commercial rent rates will not happen this year.

Agreed! It was on the ten o'clock news last night. They interviewed an army wife, distorted her face (no jokes) & used the voice of an actress, as to have revealed her identity may have a detrimental effect on her husbands career!

It was a very damning report! Gold dust really...

Parliament 16 Mar 09
Patrick Mercer: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence on what date the Armed Forces Pay Review Body submitted its 2009 report on armed forces pay to his Department; and when his Department plans to publish (a) the report and (b) its response to the report’s recommendations. [263888]

Mr. Lidington: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence on what date he received the report of the Armed Forces Pay Review Body for 2008; on what date he proposes to publish the report; and if he will make a statement. [263810]

16 Mar 2009 : Column 829W

Mr. Hutton: The Armed Forces Pay Review Body submitted its report for 2009 to the Prime Minister and Secretary of State for Defence on 29 January 2009. The Government intend to make only one public sector pay award announcement this year and this will be made in due course.

unfortunately thats what makes Military life so **** is the fact as people cannot speak out and tell the truth. Its like being in a regime but worse.
Its probably just as bad as they looking at all IP addresses and know exactley who we all are

They can't see your IP address so how do you think they can know who you are?

If someone breaches security on here then they have to fill out legal documentation and serve it to me. I am then obliged to provide them with your IP address. However, they cannot just do this willy nilly and are only interested in people breaching OPSEC, SYOPS etc. I dont think DImons would be interested in what your opinions are on everyday service matters to be honest.

I had a conversation at work about it yesterday, I was told that it was on the PMs desk awaiting his attention.

I assume he is waiting for a good day to release it...

As for IP addresses, occasionally the CINC hears about comments/posts on PPRUNE and it causes a bit of consternation/work for some staff officers, however I never heard about them tracing IPs. I'm sure they could if they really wanted to do so.

Civvy's dont start tuntil 9 mate. So by the time they have got a brew, checked their emails an chatted bout last night it will be tea break so nothing will be released until probably after 11 o'clock
