3 - 1 Beautiful. At the top of the stack with 24 points. Don't wake me up....:PDT_Xtremez_31:

Fantastic result. I am still in a state of shock.

Bit pi$$ed off that I couldn't watch the game. I even put on BBC1 Scotland on Sky to find the England game on there as well FFS.

Good results for both teams today!!!

Good result

Good result

A good result for the old porridge eating haggis bashing savages , I'm sure a few will be a bit worse for wear in the morning. just need brave-heart on TV to round the night off.

Brilliant!
4 Points to gaurantee it or beat Italy.
Hope we do it!
Could end up with 26 points and not go through still.
Roll On Georgia

Well having survived nearly 4 years torture as an English kid at a Jockish school I left with a balanced attitude towards our highland cousins...enormous chips on both shoulders. Who laughed hardest in 1978 at the Peru result :PDT_Xtremez_14:

BUT, I now have to say well done to Scotland for their recent run of form and results against teams ranked above them when the draw was made for Euro 2008. To get both of last years world cup finalists in their group should have told the story as a forgone conclusion, but it hasn't.
So good luck in the final qualifiers ya porridge eatin' heathens. Be good to see Scotland back at a major finals again. :PDT_Xtremez_30:

Doh! Lost 2 zip to Georgia.

Still, at least qualification is still in your own hands albeit a tough game aganist the eyties.
We need you to qualify because we want another 'Scotland in the finals song' like Allys Tartan Army or the unforgetable 'I have a Dream'. :PDT_Xtremez_28:

Much better than our lame "This time, more than any other time" bollox from 1982, but still not a patch on World in Motion.

We only need to beat the World Cup winners at Hampden to qualify.
We've done it before (1967) so we can do it again.

Gerrintaethem.

Allys Tartan Army

An immortal line from that much loved anthem

"England caanae dae it cos they didnae qualify"

I rest my case.

Shocking performance last night.
miller and Maloney wouldnt have made it half time if i had been manager.
everytime Miller got the ball he lost it and maloney looked lost.
body language was terrible after we lost first goal.
i had pinpointed this as our slip up game.
rweally frustrating not to get stone wall penalty just before half time, would have changed things.

3 wrong decisions for penalties on sat against ukraine, 1 last night and the shocker of a deciscion in Moscow, never a penalty, never a foul and outside the box.

We need the top referees for big important games like these qualifiers with so much riding on them

Awful result on Wednesday! I had a funy feeling that the Georgia game was going to be a problem. Never mind, bring on the Eyties at Hampden. Very best of luck guys!!

Hope all the hype doesnt get to be too much. We could just do it!!!!
We need our first team all to play, the right tactics for the whole game, a bit of luck and to take one of the very few chances that will come our way.

Dear oh dear, where did it all go wrong? Watching some of the comments come out after the match made me giggle.

The ref cost us the chance to qualify. I think not my jockanese fiends. With the extra help you got from the linesman you should have done better. A perfectly good eytie goal ruled out and an off-side goal given just to keep you in with a shout, surely you can have no complaints. Now as for McFaddens miss, just goes to show why he plays for Everton and not a decent club.:PDT_Xtremez_14:

Oh dear chaps... thanks to Isreal for sorting us out ! Just a draw with croatia to go and well see you in Austria/Swiz oh no ye didnea qualify !
