What do you think?

What do you think?

Did someone mention Locking ?

Anyone on here from '88 ?

Yeah I was there that time........:PDT_Xtremez_28:

You know I have been to Toosford recently and been borged.

We talk about how bad it will be.......but honestly I don't think we will really know how it will pan out until the end of two years or so, just like the mid 90's when we all got thrown together as ELs.

Yes it was sh1t then with all the cross trades, TC in AF posts, AD in TC posts.
We worked through it.....cos thats what we do whether you like it or not:PDT_Xtremez_41:

So we just will have to wait and see.

Different times

Different times

As I was told when I first arrived on unit from training,
"you new lot aren't as good as they were in the old days"
and I now think they were right (in general - I was the exception obviously)
The new OMs have a lot less initial training and they are on the low band are they not?
How are they getting on has anyone met one yet?
Are they getting enough support?

Possibly Mug.
What you said about the new recruits is true though. They come out of training with a bad attitude. When I left training I wouldn't say boo to a goose, let alone my Cpl! Now they don't think twice about back chatting when you tell them to do something. Cosford blame Halton and Halton blame Cosford, somewhere along the line they are picking this attitude up and it needs sorting out!

I can honestly say that it is not HALTON, the problem lies at Cosford, what with their mentor/fluffy/huggy/cpl i cant pass this exam groups and lack of discipline,no wonder the trade is in free fall.

The future for the poor OM!!

The future for the poor OM!!

Isnt it time that we put the whole TG3 to TG4 assimilation saga to bed. We once again have been shafted and as always have to put up or shut up.

I think its those poor b'stards who are now joining us as TG4 OMs that we should be feeling sorry for (well not really!) - most joined up to do IT and yet they are finding a lot of legacy equipment out there that doesnt use a keyboard or Windows software. Many havent realised that there isnt an IT future once the Atlas Consortium contracturalise the defence IT infrastructure and so surely the demise of this new IT trade is already on the wall - unless you like wearing DPM. Perhaps this is what the fat one realised when he forged the concept of the new trade and it is he who started the demise of the TG11 element of TG4? Long live TG3.

Thought we had put it to bed, in fact it's been fast asleep since the end of Feb, until someone just woke it back up again!:PDT_Xtremez_42:
