How do you do that? Or is it because you're a shiney, you have the power?

I could tell you but then I would have to kill you :PDT_Xtremez_31:

Mainly it's because I am a shiney, but it's also because my Nerd tag is well-deserved (I have a phenomenal memory for numbers, esp. service numbers).

Thinning of Numbers!

Thinning of Numbers!

Would be interesting to track down the members of your recruit intake at the 9, 12, 22 (etc) year points and find out who is in, who is out, and who you outrank :)

Well FBC, out of the 60 odd I joined up with, only 30 odd left with our flight!

Out of those I kept in touch with, all of 'em left before or at the 9 year point.

I know of a Bomb disposal guy that was still in a couple of years ago and I bumped into a RAF copper from a course behind me. He's still acting Cpl after all this time!

Made me feel good!

Old git again.

8020*** from 1975, but again an ex-brat. Was it true we had a different set of numbers?

Mine's 8093 from 71, so I think that S-B may be right about differenft sets of numbers. :PDT_Xtremez_30:

I left some time ago but my first four was 8120 - June 75, Swinditz.
Using Split Brains' Logic the numbers were different for Appos and 'others' at least.
This does make you feel old - doesn't it?

8412 for me. 6 Feb 90 first day a Swinditz. Don't know about my intake, but I can't find anyone from my shiney course who is still in the mob.

8176... Sunny Swinditz Nov 1978... Damn, I have to be dead by now... :PDT_Xtremez_08:

8438 for me.

Mate of mine is a Sgt with 8501!!!

Bloody fast-trackers!! 25yr old SNCO
