There's a debate on defence in parliment from 1130 onwards today. So that may shed some light on the pay issue
 
"Announcement expected very soon," and ".......all service personnel to be patient in the meantime."

Does that mean we are going to be disappointed?

What are the odds it will be today now?

IMHO it's not really worth getting all worked up about. We know it's going to be about 2.7-2.8% which will work out around £40-50 per month after tax, but before any corresponding rises in food & accom, MQ charges and council tax.
It ain't gonna be a life changing amount

Well, the pay chits are on JPA now....

My council tax and quarter charge have both gone up. No pay rise, so I'm £20 or so worse off this time round.
 
But the pay rise would only effect Aprils pay mate the pay chits are Marchs pay and the increase your seeing in charges is the change between a 28 day month (feb) and 31 day month (Mar).

I think.

Why would your council tax and quarter charge have gone up in your march payslip?
 
Tossfords front page on the website has a pop up saying be patient. I wernt there an hour ago.

Somit might be happening shortly.

JPA is indeed showing a rise of 2.8% in everyones pay for April as was said about 3 pages ago on the thread

if it is any different to that I would be extremely surprised.

Sorry that doesn't happen any more. Your Annual Salary is divided by twelve so the pay remains the same all year round.

All we can hope for now is some type out of phase X factor increase.
