Bunch of useless jerks. Obviously the two months that the PM has had the report isn't long enough. Perhaps it takes him twice as long to read it due to his sh!t eye.

Slight correction. :PDT_Xtremez_14:

JPA is indeed showing a rise of 2.8% in everyones pay for April as was said about 3 pages ago on the thread

if it is any different to that I would be extremely surprised.

Where does it say that on JPA? I cant find it anywhere? Is it in payroll process results?

In pay and personnel, click others button, Grade step. Just learned something new, have never used that screen before!! It does show a 2.8% rise effective 01 Apr 09. Thanks riffraff.

Thnaks for the reply Sammy, but i'm still stuck , is this something only adminer can access, i cannot see pay and personnel button

Having read through this thread I can gather we have been getting what the CPI rate was in the previous September for the past few years. Having just googled this I have discovered that it was around 4.7% at the end of August, therefore a rise of less than that is actually a pay cut so I estimate a payrise of 4.7% each.

It'll happen that way wont it? Politicians are trustworthy and stick to their word surely?

Yes only Admin Clerks who have the JPA Actor 'HR Admin Pay & Personnel' can view this.

If these figures are on JPA and have been finalised why can't the government annouce them? People have plans to make and it must look good in the AFCO the conversation going something like this to potential recruits. 'This week the pay is X amount but next week it could be anything and yes we are a professionally well run organisation.'

hhhmmmm

hhhmmmm

Sounds about right?
1.8 % with 1% X factor?
Gets them out of the breaking 2% guide and also they can use the 2.8 rise in support of all the hard work people are doing?

Is this supposed rise in X factor gen? I thought it was next up for review in 2012 for the 2013 report.

Its not been announced. The review is every 5 years, however they reserve the right to adjust it in between if required. This is highly unlikely considering it was adjusted last year.

The reason I ask is the number of times it has been quoted lately. Or, are folks simply regurgitating last year's news?

Has anyone got the fecking gen or not?
If so, have a pair of bigunns and tell us, please, in plain and simple black and white.

What is our payrise?

Both a mix up of last years announcment and some hope that this year will contain something 'Extra'.

I am completley F@CKED OFF with this, Harriet Harman answered a direct question during PMQ's yesterday on when the AFPRB 09 would be announced she said words to the effect that there was a whole days debate on defence today and it would answer the members question.

SHE LIED in parliament that is the most serious offence an MP can be found guilty of.

The longer we wait the more labour bury themselves, can landlords impose rises in rent on properties with only 5 days notice?(If FMQ's rent are to rise as of 01 Apr 09) Be interesting to find that one out, any lawyers out there?

It's a lovely sentiment but everytime a politician's lips move within those hallowed chambers they are pretty much telling lies...At the very least they are being economic with the truth...

One months notice is required to increase rent which is paid monthly under a standard rent agreement and the housing act.

Unbelievably it is not illegal for an MP to lie in the House of Commons, but under guidance notes it is to be avoided as it "undermines the integrity" of the house. MP's are advised to be as forthright and honest as possible and to avoid misleading the house......... it doesn't say you can't lie though.
