Pay Rise 2009

I doubt they have any other option than to release it today seeing as any rise will be effectively viewable for all to see (and not just the Shiney's) on JPA from midnight.

We're looking at 0% then. :PDT_Xtremez_14:

One question, why does the financial times know when the fcukers are realeasing our pay details but we do not........

Yeah that report from the FT mentions that ministers take a pay freeze to lead by example to all public sector members, not looking very good is it :/

Mr Brown ordered all ministers to reject a 2.33 per cent pay increase for MPs for this financial year, announced on Monday, as well as freezing ministerial salaries. MPs’ pay will rise from £63,291 to £64,766.

ministers are frozen, but MPs still get their 2.33%. Thats how i read it anyway.

Yer, front benchers get feck all and as much allowances as they can stuff into their greedy pockets, the rest get 2.33%.

I dont think id be bothered by a pay rise if i earned £64,766 a year!!!

but instead ill have to cope with my £27599 and have done with it.

is it me or is this thread doing funny things!

It's the thought police, censoring us on the fly. :PDT_Xtremez_14:

Finally it would appear that they have waitied long enough, hoping for some bad news to bury it in. After missing the golden oppertunity when a certain Z list celeb died earlier this month.

I await with baited breath.

Just a point to note, or maybe its me being thick, the subject DIN gives charges for SFA charges for International personnel; not us lot. Was not aware the charges had been released.
