Corona virus

I have a mate who lives in St Annes; he said that on Wednesday the beaches were absolutely heaving and that people were sat on the green literally within arms reach of each other....
Most of the residents of St Annes need to social distance at least two zimmer frames apart.

Is that where the Taps pub is?

After Cummings drives 250 miles to put his parents in danger of catching Covid19, so they can look after their grandson and he thinks he's done nothing wrong, then this weekend anything goes.

You know something, I don't care. I couldn't give a f**king shit who visits whom. They're adults, they can do exactly what they f**king want. This constant stream of, "Ooh, someone broke the lockdown rules" is pathetic. This country has become a nation of wankers. Tattletales, Stasi informants, snitches, curtain twitching shites. I went on a 20 mile drive this morning, car hadn't been out for while so I thought why not. F**king sue me!

I JUST DON'T CARE!

You don't care but millions do care and abided by the guidelines. So when someone who is making these guidelines breaks them, you must see the total hypocrisy at play. So this weekend when thousands flock to parks, go on 20 mile drives, go to the beach. If the government have a go at these people then the government can feck off

'Guidelines'. Exactly, they are guidelines not laws. As I understand it Mr Cummings broke no laws, even that nice Ms Kuensberg has admitted that on Twitter. I just think that there is now this air of absolute hysteria in this country that has tainted everything. When they come to write the history of the early 21st century the whole chapter will have three words. 'What the F**k?'.

'If Boris doesn't fire Cummings today, then I will deem the Lockdown over & drive down to see my parents (from a 2m distance) for the first time in 12 weeks. I'm not having one rule for these clowns & another for the rest of us,' The words of Piers Morgan.

Guidelines, rules, laws the label doesn't bother me. I (and many others) have tried to follow them over the past weeks both for the my personal well being and hopefully the well being of others. As I look around it seems to me at least that lately the lock down is slowly eroding away as more people gather together, social distancing is not as defined as it was in the early days. Whether officially or not we seem to be moving away from lock down inch by inch day by day.

Not defending anyone here but what would you do if you've got a young un or two and both you and your partner need to self isolate?

A lot of key workers have moved to alternative accommodation to protect their families from the risks they face, addimitedly not 100s of miles, although i would have thought the Nightingale staff would have come in from a far.

I think most people are being careful now, even if they are not sticking to the letter of the guidance.

So no laws were broken. So any fines Police gave out are illegal. You can't fine someone for breaking guidelines. Kuensberg is nothing but a mouthpiece for this government, so what she tweets is a load of bollox.
So it's alright for millions to follow these guidelines but for our leaders and advisors, it's ok.

Cummings drove 250 miles supposedly on his deathbed with his wife not so well and a 4yr old in the back. How many rest breaks did they take. How many people did they contaminate along the way. He's just a selfish c++t.

I hope now the public give 2 fingers to the government and go out this weekend. Who would blame them.

Why couldn't his sister come and pick the kid up. I'm sure Cummings must know about online shopping, I'm sure he's got loads of chums who could drop the shopping off at the front door. Millions of others have had to do this.

I also trust that all those now demanding Cummings resigns will expect that the Labour MP will do the right thing as well.

The chief lady doctor person has said he didn’t break the rules based on his circumstances, so what’s to apologise for. When it comes to family safety I know what I’d do first, those other two senior people were just bunking off for social activities and deserved to fall on their swords, the Labour MP had less reason to break the rules so whilst he’s not so senior he’s still a MP, is saying sorry enough?

There seemed to be plenty of press around his house not observing social distancing and probably not exactly on essential duties.

People who dislike Dominic, and there’s plenty of them, will call for him to go no matter what he does next.

Hypocrite Michael Gove, “I know that lockdown is challenging, I know it’s very difficult, particularly for families with children. But people must at every stage respect these guidelines because that is the only way of making sure we restrict the spread of the disease.”
