I know of one who was in the top ten who has turned it down. He got his offer 2 days before he was due to leave the mob for good other than him not heard of anyone else yet

mate, congrats, i came off 10th and didnt get any of my location cjoices, guess being further down the list pays off lol. Are you soon to be joining the 90SU collective? Going back for my 2nd tour on the wing. Liked it first time round was a good crack so hope this will be the same.

It seems to be there or High Wycombe this time round (no connection between manning being there now!)
With the odd one from Cosford.(old TS hunting ground)
Although I know a few who got it in Cyprus.

Number 34 has just seen his offer and will be saying yes.

Area of choice and job choice so I'm well pleased!!!
 
is that gen or rumour? it's just that I phoned up (chief clerk) on tuesday and was told that they are at 40 )

I really wonder how many they will get up to this time? A colleague phoned up today to find out about an overseas post advertised and was told its not available until sep next year!! He asked about the FS promotion as he was in the low 50's but didnt expect anything and was told they will be lucky to get pass 20 !! Also I know who came off the WO board no1 and he is not expecting anything until early next year !! Just makes you wonder whether manning are holding off until the SDR is completed?
 
In response to various comments:

No point checking JPA daily for your prom offer as Manning send out an email/signal offer to the Chf Clk who then forwards it to your Line Manager. Once you have accepted the offer it then goes back to Manning who then issue the assignment on JPA.

They are up to No55 and as has been discussed previously, they do not release in numerical order and therefore you may not necessarily hear anything straight away. The reason they have released more is to start taking up posts from Jan 11 through to about Mar 11, thus it may be too early for them to make the offer yet, but they are merely releasing the anticipated amount that they require to cover that period.

I came off the board in the 60's. Does this mean I won't get my offer until January time taking into account the 90 days notice.
 
BZN TG4 meet said all promo boards have been cut.

Cpl-Sgt is now only up to 72, the rest go back into the melting pot for next year.
